So, I'm no expert at using Hecate or how any of this works.
And I know I'm gonna get roasted for this,
But I updated to 6.0.0 while using CFW daily.

After updating to 6.0.0, booting into RCM and trying to launch the CFW, a new error occurs.

Initializing...
Could not identify package1 version (= '20180802162753').
Failed to launch firmware.

Can someone tell me whats up?

Try lastest hekate as well. Then copy SDFiles.
Everything should be updated, but idk. I am still on 5.1.0. 6.0.0 might have broken something. You can also try and google for 6.0.0 kip, which might be what you need.
Or just wait for updates/someone who can tell you what to do.

I've tried the latest Hekate with the latest SDFiles and still get the error code. Any other ideas?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Okay, so I tried something.
I took out the SD card entirely and tried booting it again.
I got into RCM mode and tried to launch firmware and it said
Failed to init SD card
Followed by the same error as before.

That makes sense. It can't initialize sd if its not inserted...

I know that, but the same error
"Could not identify package1 version (= '20180802162753').
Failed to launch firmware.
"
appeared while the sd card was out.

I'm no surgeon, but I think the error is from the actual switch instead of the sd card's files.

[QUOTE = "Kubas_inko, postagem: 8287628, membro: 413693"] Isso faz sentido. Não pode inicializar o sd se não estiver inserido ... [/ QUOTE]

in fw 6.0 the hecate and reinx do not work, waiting for the heckate 4.1 that will be released soon

Because it couldn't apply pkg1 kip/patch or whatever. So its not a problem with the switch.

Okay. I tried,
So right now, the only thing to do is to wait for new releases for Hekate and others?

After using Hekate 4.1 and even the new SDFiles Switch, I still get this error.
Am I putting it on the SD card wrong or something?
Could someone give me layout or image on how it should look and where varies files should go, etc? I'd be very much apperiated.

Wait.
I just realized that I haven't been using the .bin file as the payload, that came with the download.
Should this affect anything?

My son accidentally updated the switch to 6.0 and I am having the same problem. I get the same error as you when using the latest RajNX and latest bin, and I get a white screen when trying to use the latest ReiNX. Guess I'll just have to wait until someone comes out with a fix [emoji53].

Nevermind, I got it working with both. I deleted all the files for both cfws instead of just overwriting, and then copied them again. I also deleted the bins in rekado on my phone and then selected the ones from the newest downloads. Both now boot without any issues.
