Hi everyone, my friends Wii has recently been "homebrewified" by me with no problem there, just threw on some old emulators. But the next time I came to see him, whenever we powered it on, it won't boot and gave us a black screen on boot up. Sadly, we don't have a bootmii card and the disk drive flashes one on boot. What do I do?!? Any help will be kind.

you still see an active video signal, right? Your TV detects there's something?
if the tv doesn't even see the signal, it could be a video issue.

is your wiimote sync ?
I don't know how far the console boots when it's a bluetooth module problem.

if priiloader doesn't launch, there's not much you can do.
ask your friend what he did, if he tried to install or replace anything, or launched homebrew he didn't know what it was used for. Maybe even installing wad files with a manager ?
maybe he replaced his system menu with another wad file, replacing priiloader and preventing the console from booting if the console doesn't have the needed IOS.

you could reflash nand using a hardware device, if you did a NAND backup and know how to solder.

There is still an active video signal, and the wii remote will not sync from the front panel.

Is that the flash sequence to indicate bootmii installed as boot2? I can't recall

Assuming u have that installed, you can just download the bootmii SD card files and put it on a fresh SD card and load into bootmii. Obviously this will only work if the problem isn't hardware related AND bootmii has already been installed as boot2

if bootmii is installed, it flashes few times (2 or 3) if there's no bootmii folder or sd inserted.
but maybe he has bootmii and didn't count the flashes correctly, he should try modmii files to be sure.
