this might be a stupid question but does anyone know a DNS that will work for 5.5.3? because now i cant play online
Did not work for me... but thanks for sharing it anywayI had the same Error Code: 105-3015 message even though I had the update folder, in the past I did remove this folder to stop updates and added the update folder back ages ago with the correct FOLDER PERMISSIONS.
This is what I did to fix, hopefully it will work for you and others who have the same Error Code message.
- Boot into CFW and launch FTPiiU Everywhere
- User you preferred FTP client, I'm using FileZilla.
- Locate the update folder at the following location: /storage_mlc/sys
- Right Click on the update folder and select File permissions..., take note of the Numeric Value: 755.
- If you have deleted the update folder in the past and added it back again, chances are that you may have not changed the Numeric Value to 755, but in my case it was already set to 755.
- Delete the update folder.
- Re create the update folder.
- Right Click on the update folder and select File permissions..., and change the Numeric Value to 755 then click OK to save.
- Now reboot your WiiU console and try to do a system update again, this time around, it should start updating.
See how you go.
so... I must wait to 5.5.3 exploit, or can choose 5.5.2 exploit and everything gonna be fine with console?
Correct, nothing was changed in the browserAs far as I can see, you can click on the 5.5.2. Because the guide talks about 5.5.2 / 5.5.3 as if they are one in the same.
If you're using Haxchi, then it is perfectly safe to update from 5.5.1 to 5.5.3.I'm running my Wii U with the below versions, is it safe to update?
WiiU System: 5.5.1
Haxchi 2.5u2
I haven't had my Wii U started in months so I was a bit afraid of getting bricked when I started the console yesterday and noticed it asks my password for nintendo network and that an update was waiting, so I quickly removed Wifi settings.
Asking for password and having 4-5 information/messageboxes before I can play a game is quite annoying.
After i reinstalled haxchi it just boots up to the WiiU menu every time i get no menu on boot anymore? Wish i never updated now!Just to confirm, I did it on my WiiU, and worked like a charm (I always like to have the most updated version, it is like a craze for me )
In summary, having the EUR WiiU in 5.5.2, with CBHC installed with the FW 99.99.99:
Thank you and hope you take advantage of it.
- We don't need to "prepare" the WiiU, like uninstalling, or deactivating anything as the CBHC or Haxsi or whatever.
- Just let the upgrade download, then it will ask to reboot.
- After the reboot, the upgrade will be installed.
- After upgrading, we just go to the "do not touch", it will open the Haxchi, will reboot the WiiU in a "signed" mode.
- After that, just go to the Homebrew Launcher, go to the CBHC Install Program and do it over again.
- Reboot again.
- Everything will keep working and the FW 99.99.99 maintained.
Best

lol yes your right i will reinstall cbhc now and see if that fixes itcbhc? no autobooting screen? you may have confused haxchi with cbhc.
Thanks Cyan I completely forgot about doing this part are you aloud to link the PAL files for FW5.5.3 here I've forgot how to do this using nus, it's been so long.yes, you need to download the latest "version.bin" file from NUS and install it.
use JNUSTool or any other encrypted app downloader to get this titleID:
JPN : 00050010-10041000
USA : 00050010-10041100
EUR : 00050010-10041200
Then use WUP installer to install it.
it's a system title so it'll get an official ticket.
another method would be to edit the version.bin file manually, it's a simple file with the version written inside (ftp, edit, replace the file), but wup installer is easier and safer.
If you're using Haxchi, then it is perfectly safe to update from 5.5.1 to 5.5.3.
java -jar jnustool.jar 0005001010041200 -dlEncryptedare you aloud to link the PAL files for FW5.5.3 here I've forgot how to do this using nus, it's been so long.
