I agree that the Switch needs more first-party titles. The only games I've played and cared about are Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey.

Well, with Breath of the Wild and Mario, and the upcoming Metroid 4, (and yes some good ports) I assure you, I have had more fun than with Xbox or PS4 and the "exclusive" titles for those. To say things like the title, is to be a butthurt just wanting to atract attention, or an unexperiencied noob in the gaming world. There are great games, and on the go or home. There`s no way to say trash about this console.

Imagine calling someone an unexperienced noob for having a different opinion...

Thoughts about the title ....

I think it looks quite weird to write a space followed by three periods.
Quite sure the standard is the other way around, first you write the three periods... then the space, just like this here.
Other than that, perhaps it is a good idea to end the title with some form of punctuation.
A period? A question mark? An exclamation mark?
No idea, it depends what is the message you want to convey, but without any kind of punctuation mark at the end it looks somewhat incomplete.

Have played most of mario games and a few other i cared for on switch. They were meh. Here is my opinion and i used to care about them...

that's like %90 fair but odyssey and breath of the wild are now my two favorite games of all time and no other console has those so to me other consoles are just not odyssey or breath of the wild

These ports are just developers testing the potential market of the system

They port a game they know it does/did well and see the results:
-If the game does well on switch too they know there's market and maybe they'll port another one or make a new game for the system

-If the game sells poorly they know that switch isn't for them

It's not so hard to understand from a corporation point of view

If you want to play more crossplatform titles you should buy an xbox one or ps4, switch has it's own games and lives because it's very different from them, I'd like to see less shovelware in the eshop, but most indie are good or great games

I played Doom and did find myself not wanting to play portable (it's way harder), slower games are better because can benefit from the switch portability, there aren't a lot of AAA turn based games

I have to agree to some degree.
I really don't care about indies, neither do I think that the ports that came out in the Switch are worth a purchase.
DOOM and Wolfenstein are cool, but too hard in portable mode because they weren't designed for such a small screen, and in docked mode they look like ass.
After I played through BotW, SMO and Captain Toad, there isn't a single game I really care about.
I won't sell the Switch, because I know that AC and MP4 are coming and won't miss them, but right now I only play Game Boy games on my Switch, which is a huge waste of potential.
