Watch them delay it again. I don't know if I'll be using it tbh because it seems like they can't hold any promises
They never set a specific release date. Fusee gelee was July 15th, atmosphere was just "when it's done" hoping for around the same time as FG but only guaranteed a release when it's done. The "by end of August" was also not a guarantee, and because 6.0.0 leaked data mining that became more important so it pushed back work on Atmosphere (but still in the end ended up being work for atmosphere 6.0.0 support).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if all you care about is piracy then you already have what you want. If you care about homebrew then atmosphere has an exciting future ahead of it.

Honestly I think people are going to be extremely disappointed by the release of 0.7. It has practically no features that end users actually need or care about.

0.7 release features are already clearly defined/already usable, and if the user wants to use it he can do so.
So no one will be disappointed if they looked at the release plan.

I don't get your point tho?
Other features that might interest the user are piracy related. Unlike some people that are somewhat hypocritical (won't name anyone), the reswitched team/sciresm have a strong position against it.
And I don't even think SciresM care about who use it. Tho atmosphere certainly won't die because of the amount of packs/ccfw/whatever uses it.

Any features from 0.7 you are particularly interested in?

Regarding piracy and hypocrisy what you said is a laugh. Scires is the biggest hypocrite of them all considering he was involved in leaking Pokemon 3ds games early. He talks one way in public because he has to. That is the definition of hypocrisy.

At least ReiNX doesn't impose its morality and views on others and they certainly don't act hypocritical about it. Go ahead and ask one of the devs on discord and you will guaranteed get a straight answer about how they feel: that developers shouldn't try to control what people do with the device they own.

Well, my take is that I want to use Atmosphere because pretty much everything else (sysmodule wise) is based off of it.
(including actual sysmodule+exosphere+hekate like installations)

I didn't knew that.
Would you please link me to anything about it.

I wasn't talking about reinx, if it is what you mean.
I didn't knew what was the developpers opinion actually. So thanks.

Just because something is the basis isnt a good excuse. Alot of stuff is based on OFW but that doesnt make it the best does it?

And regarding that info you won't find it anywhere because only people that knew him at the time know that. He doesn't advertise it for obvious reasons.

The content itself doesn't "impose" morals, the creator of said content does. Even then, the developers of Atmosphere aren't out to control what people do or think, they merely dislike piracy and don't want to put it in their content. They have every right to do so since it's their content.

Despite this, they aren't really trying to stop people from pirating. There are other CFWs for that and if people really want to, they can apply the patches needed to pirate games to Atmosphere themselves.

Rei has been hypocritical in the past as well. He "cracked" rommenu for having poor branding but then proceeded to replace that branding with even worse branding.

They still have 1 more bug to solve and 6.0.0 support before they release it. It's a part of Nintendo's fault it's delayed again, but on the other hand it's nice that it will have 6.0.0 support for people that are updating anyway.
By a part of Nintendo's fault I mean ofcourse SciresM want 6.0.0 support for it so ^^
I don't lose hope, I understand.

Impatient people rather have a constant crashing CFW than an actual stable one...
Just install Palentine CFW 3DS and see for yourself...

They are holding it hostage because it partially involves a bootrom exploit, which they are hoping will roll over into the Mariko units.

But, doesn´t this Djvu warmboot exploit require low frimware (<4.1 i think)??. We have to assume that the mariko units will have 6.0, maybe 5.0.

OMG, I can't believe you guys are actually discussing if September is Summer or not and are all over SciresM about his estimated release date. He has NO OBLIGATION to release it on summer, he has no obligation of even releasing Atmosphere CFW. He isnt being paid to do that and he can finish his project whenever he wants and do it however he sees fit. Stop complaining geez.

Imagine being this entitled to free, open-source cfw, that you in no way helped to make.

If you want to help them with the project and meeting set dates I'm sure they'd welcome it.
Otherwise you have no reason to complain.
So just because it's free gives us no right to complain? That's plain retarded and you know it is. If they are going to give a date, then the community is obviously gonna assume that's the set release
Everyone hyped it up including them, even though it offers nothing different than the others and will not support piracy also which features on every other CFW. It just seems like a huge letdown to me considering its lackluster befefits over other CFW

Well it is freeware so don't complain, technically he don't have to release to the public if SciresM doesn't want to, not patient enough then use what is available like Hakate, ReiNX, ChoiDujourNX. Beside it is recommended to avoid initial release anyway, Boot9Strap had problem when it first came out.

They never set a release date, they merely gave an estimate. It's not their fault that you don't know how to read.

Getting upset and complaining over the free content that you aren't contributing to isn't going to make said content release faster. It only makes the scene look like it's filled with a bunch of ungrateful children who go out of their way to complain about every little thing.

Deja Vu wasn't fully patched out on firmwares 5.X hence why it hasn't been released yet. The exploit needs to be reworked for it work for the higher firwmares as well as the lower firmwares but the point is that while the ipatched and Mariko units are immune to the Fusee Gelee exploit, they are still vulnerable to Deja Vu.

I myself am waiting eagerly for Atmosphere to be released, but I would never even dream of hating because I wanted it yesterday and cannot wait.
For all those "it's free, but I want to complain anyway"-subscribers... Nobody forces you to wait. Nobody forces you to use it.
Be patient or do it yourself.

Complaining about free CFW that you haven't helped with, and then barking about delays is pretty ridiculous, period.

This must be your first time in a hacking scene, because delays have always been a thing that happen from time to time. People that have been around for a while know that "release dates" are good estimates, but not concrete.

Rather than complain in this thread about how "lackluster" Atmosphère is, why not just use one of the other CFWs you're so adamant about?
If they have all the features you want already, why are you even waiting for Atmosphère?

*ipatched, we don't know if mariko will get the bootrom side patched.

While I won't deny the possibility exists, the primary reason Mariko units are going to be hitting the market is to counteract the bootrom exploit known as Fusee Gelee. Not to mention that Deja Vu has not been released and only a part of it was patched in 5.X; its unlikely that Nintendo will be able to fully patch out an exploit they are not aware of.
