Gaming Play ntsc u games on ntsc j wii?

I wan to buy nintendo wii but in japan version to play ctgp. because my old wii got broken in disc reader. the wii is in second hand, but the price is very cheap. 14$ only. But can i play my ntsc u game disc on ntsc j wii? maybe i must use a sneek? Thx

One of the Priiloader hacks can do just that.

You can't play U disc on J console. (maybe priiloader hack works with riivolution? I don't know)

Some games need a real region change to work, specifically when "JPN" is involved because it uses a different font system.
To play a different region, you'll need to use AnyRegionChanger.
there's a guide in modmii to do it, and your wii will become a NTSC-U, so your disc will work.

Riivolution doesn't work on neek. if CTGP uses riivolution, you need to change that console's region.
or get a USA console. (or JPN game)

I'm not sure if CTGP does use Riivolution, also I'll try out switching the region of my Wii for a bit and seeing what stuff I might not be able to get on a NTSC-U Wii.

no... Cyan (and I) have said many times cios236 is useless now.
Be sure you have bootmii@boot2 and a nand backup or be prepared for for an unrecoverable brick. If you brick during region changing, priiloader will be gone and won't protect you.
Don't venture too much if you are not sure what you are doing just for the sake of curiosity.

@tswntk Unfortunetly, my Wii is one of those LU64+ Wiis, so I don't have BootMii as Boot2.
