If it's the only thing, does that means we can take a NAND backup from anyone, and just inject your own PRODINFO and that's good ?prodinfo

Bump i guessIf it's the only thing, does that means we can take a NAND backup from anyone, and just inject your own PRODINFO and that's good ?
Bump i guess
I mean if i take a NAND Backup from someone and if i have his keysI dont see why not,but you need to decrypt the file system also thats what hacdiskmount is for
I'm speaking about the fake sx thing .. i have partitions of my backup but not the raw and afaik the gpt data get screwed by that soo i was thinking about that to recoverYou can use his files but like i said you need to encrypt them with your own keys in this case Biskeys using hackdiskmount,,
I dont see why you want to use his files..
Personally id use choidujour nx and download the system files from xbins 4.1 4.0 .5.1 etc
If you cant then just use the update firmware without burning fuses guide i mention but make sure to use the same system files aka if your on 5.10 use 5.10 if your on 4.10 use 4.10
Im not sure what your trying to do or achieve but i dont
think this is the thread you should be asking, or create your own
I mean rn it's bricked by the fake SX payload thing (and N is asking €240 to repait it) and i just kept every partition of my backup except user (cause 26GB)Fake sx thing ??? You mean you want to use a copy version or cracked version of sxos ??
Just dont do it, theres no genuine cracked sxos atm. or full should i say..
If there is nothing wrong with your system atm then just make a rawnand.bin backup.
But you can restore from partition backups using hackdiskmount
If you made a full backup in the beginning like mentioned in my guide then you should have your ass covered, if your system is fine atm just make a rawnand backup or follow my guide
Yep i have those, and i restored with hacdiskmount yesHow did you try to restore ??
Did you use hackdiskmount ?
Tell me do you have your system keys tsec, biskeys ?
Yep i have those, and i restored with hacdiskmount yes
They only say correct for user, the other ones are red (while they worked previously)Did you enter your keys and verify them with hackdiskmount ?
then there you go lol thats your problem buddyThey only say correct for user, the other ones are red (while they worked previously)
I have the original, i'm sure thay are the ones, i even redumped them with biskeydump and they were the samethen there you go lol thats your problem buddy
You need to use original system keys bis keys tesec etc.
If you have those then we can help you
Not to get banned ^^'.
...
Can i still make the "clean" backup?
You'll brick it.Can i make a NAND Backup of a Second switch (of my roommate) and use it for my switch or can i brick it or get 100% banned when i'm trying to do so?
A "clean" backup is not a "safe" backup.
Cleanliness isn't just what's important, continuity seems to be important as well.
As people HAVE been banned for CLEARING their logs.
I'd think that even if you had a clean backup of your OWN Switch
(made BEFORE any cfw/homebrew/nsp/xci),
but you restored it AFTER you've been online after that backup was made,
you MIGHT still get banned, because some logs will disappear (and it will look to Nintendo like you rolled back your logs).
Imo the only way to be properly safe, banwise, with your Switch (barring the obvious option of not hacking it), is:
- make a NAND backup BEFORE any cfw/SXos/homebrew/nsp/xci
- ALWAYS be offline since this backup was made, I'd say DELETE ALL your internet connections
- if you EVER want to go online, RESTORE your NAND backup first
- and make a NEW NAND backup when you're going back offline again to use cfw/etc
You'll brick it.
NAND backups are console specific.
AFAIK, you can make a "clean" NAND anyway with your biskeys by using choidujour and having an empty USER partition. "Clean" but not necessarily "safe", imo.
You are so wrong Nand backups are not console specific, but the keys system keys stored in them are. you can use any system files as long as you encrypt them with your system keys.
