Hacking Flashcard firmware backups

Thanks for your help but It doesn't works, I tried with the "HW_A5" backup with no success.
Hope anyone have the backup.

EDIT: Found it, the correct version is HW_5 with this backup I bring the card to life. Thanks to everyone for the support.

Hi. Im looking for r4igold wood backup.bin. I used my card with ntrboot and want to bring back my card. CAn eanyone dump and upload the bin file. Please help .Thanks

It looks like is an old post... but it´s an important one.

I'm needing a working backup.bin for this Flash Cards.

I have trhee of this cards, coming for my newphews reported as "stop working anymore".

it´s not the kernel. I have backups of those.

i'm using NTR Boot Flasher and it recognizes as R4i Gold (Not as SDHC)

I can make this works as B9S installers, but My newphews want it back, updated, and operating as NDS Gaming cards.

they have the Konami icon, but icon could be changed to metroid or anyother.

You may be able to run the official firmware update from the website. Otherwise: no chance. It doesn't work with the NTRBoot flasher.

as seen in other site [r4wood dot com] the icon on the donnor card or file could be one of this...

nemo > bob sponge > chees master > konami > prince caspian > top spin > metroid > bomberman touch

in other post I have readed about NTR boot Flasher will not change my icon, and in my own experience it's is 100% true.

NTR boot Flasher does not write the banner section of the card being flashed, so it coludn't change the icon in your card

Your cards look like normal cards from r4isdhc.com. But ntrboot flasher does not support cards that came before 2014 (the new ones came before 2014).
NTRBoot flasher can't restore the flash of a flashcard without a backup of that card (or a rebranded card with the same hardware).

Your cart is almost similar to r4igold.cc and r4isdhc.hk. I had bricked 2 of my r4isdhc.hk carts before. 1st was when i used retrogamefan's kernel and 2nd was when I was writing to the SPI flash when it somehow trashed something in the flash chip. I got help from irc when someone gave me a dump of their r4isdhc.hk dual core cart, but for some reason, the original kernel wouldn't work anymore and will just give me a white screen. After buying at least 2 more of these carts, I then learned that these carts (at least the one with SpongeBob icon) has some unique key stored in flash, that if you used and write it to a different flash chip, it won't boot to the kernel. And this key is unique per flash chip (not per cart). So I searched and found an old kernel (which I believe don't check for this key) from R4iGold.cc (the one I gave you) which at least worked and let me play NDS games again.

Glad for you! if you want use it in a 3DS consider installing B9S + Luma, as this whitelist al flashcards! even the older never upgraded the firmware!

That means you don't need to upgrade, your cart FW version is higher than your updater. I can probably patch the updater for you to disable the FW check, but why would you downgrade to 5.06?

you can try other backups they will not brick the card,
so try ones to ssee if it will work

i totally thought i lost it i look in the ntrboot folder and i was
like wait a minute is this the one......please tell me this is the backup.bin
for my WIFI R4i v5.0 3DS card..
