Pics please?
Because they are showing 2 kind rcmjig.

It’s the red rcmjig. Pretty nice.
The dongle itself looks “homemade” but tried it now and works fine.
Much easier than plugging into a computer.

I’m not too sure at this point whether it charges through usb c or the normal usb.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I also have this jig.
Which is perfect.

The one that came with this dongle is on par with the one above in terms of quality. Although I prefer the one above because it’s easier to slide in and out.

There are two Red rcm jig, one with (on/off label) and the other without.

I’m curious to know if and how the payload can be changed. I’m interested in this, but I want to use it with ReiNX.

you can do it with diferent ways...
oficially, taking the uf2 file from euclala github..
conecting the dongle on pc, and pushing two times the button, will appear a new usb drive, and only have to copy the uf2 file there...

But that depends on the euclala converting payloads to this board..and can do some mistakes as releases of payloads..

another way that we found on EOL forum (spanish forum) where some members that already the payload and seems to be the best choice, is using the CTCcaer converter (that makes any payload.bin file to Boot.dat file) put that on the SD card and use the SXOS payload (that is the default payload that is in the dongle when the chinese sent it)..

that way making new payloads are so easy only use CTCcer converter from his github. with your .bin file...so easy....

Yeah,
this came with the jig without the on off label

But i also have the on off label jig i bought separately.

Both are about the same quality and way better than the 3d printed ones as the contacts in these jigs flex and only touch the pins rather than push against them on your console.

where do i get CTCcer converter from as i got mine a few days ago, works really well, its very fast and jig is much better then the 3d printed crap, its the size of a small pen drive, changing payloads seems easy, only problem is you have to open the case to change payloads, (default is txos), which looks like I'm gonna have trouble putting back together as the case seems glued together. that's why I'm looking for CTCcer converter. i can make a new thread with pics and a small review and all info needed to get it working if u guys want, let me know.

for easy use you can edit line 31 and change the name to shorter one i put ReiNX.bin or Hekate32 and is easy to use...
you need to rename the payload that you wanna to convert to ReiNX.bin or Hekate32.bin but if you did not change the name you have to rename any payload to hekate_ctcaer_3.2.bin or conversor will not work...

it will create a boot.dat with a size similar to the payload.bin.
Copy on the SD card...
and run the dongle, and start like if it were SXOS more easy.

as far as I know. this thing can not change the payload. And It can just playload one times after every charge..Someone already buy it in china. The structure design looks good.but hardware is imperfect
What do you mean by it just payload one time after each charge?
Because it uses capacitors like sx pro?

Just build your own, just finished building mine for $15(CAD). Runs off a CR2032 and has an on/off switch, excluding my crap soldering skills it turned out very nicely and works great for launching SX for me. Parts took 4 days to arrive in Canada vs the 1-2 months these Chinese things will take

Great solution, thanks ! Will test tomorrow when I get mine. I'm wondering : is this injection method (boot.dat one) a bit slower than "native" uf2 payload?

Unless one is in a rush, this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DN-Paper...X-OS-Short-Circuit-Tools-Archive/202397875657 is cheaper for the same thing. "Approx. £1.83 Free postage"

The jig from the OP of this thread https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fur-Nint...-SX-OS-SX-Short-Circuit-Werkzeug/332757622118 "Approx.
£1.79 Free postage
EUR 1.99"

A number of sellers have the quality ones for cheap and these are from a quick search.

Quick review or this dongle (op's one, not the one on this page) : high quality jig, dongle isn't the sexiest but seems robust with well made solder points. Injection works great and fast using the ctaer boot.dat method. Low Price for a finished product.
Very satisfied.
