Team Rebug starts pre-orders for their SwitchMe internal modchip

NEWS UPDATE: July 22th - Team REBUG has started pre-orders for their Switch Dev Board! :)
final-render.jpg

Team REBUG has put on the final touches to their 'SwitchME' dev board for the Nintendo Switch console, they have added some 'breakout' solder pads for future expansion and other usages, but it still only needs 4 wires for normal installs on your Switch, and it allows full usage of all the various payloads from ReiNX to Atmosphere to SX OS. :)

Pricing Tiers:

  • 2-9 – $7.29
  • 10-19 – $7.00
  • 20-49 – $6.79
  • 50+ – $6.00
Nintendo Switch Dev Board
  • Internal board to launch RCM payloads.
  • Cortex m0+ dev board
  • This is a pre-order, expect delivery in the very near future.
  • Board Dimensions 0.59 x 1.05 inch
You can use this to launch Custom Firmware’s for the Nintendo Switch.
  • Auto RCM Strapping – 5-6 wire install
  • Software Auto RCM – 4 wire install
  • Normal Mode – 4 wire install
  • Auto Payload injection after reboot – 5-6 wire install
If no Auto RCM strapping used you will either need to use a jig or solder pin 1-10 on the right joycon. We will have detailed write-ups soon under the Nintendo Switch section of the site. You can also use this as standalone development board (Like the Trinket m0)
The project is basically finished now, they have moved into the 'pre-order' phase with amazing affordable pricing starting at only $7.49 each, so check it out now:

It comes up as €19 and a few cents for me. But after the TX fiasco, I'm not trusting any of these "piracy-for-profit" companies.

Atmosphere/ReiNX are going to deliver the goods much better than any of these professional pirates ever could.

Neither one will provide a way to boot directly into cfw. That is the point of this chip. The cfw you run with it is irrelevant.

Yup E10 works fine. But you need to disassemble the console, replace heatsink compound. So just bear it in mind. The people saying pin 5 on usb power controller is hard. It isn't! Just need decent soldering tip. Use the thinnest wire you can. Awg 40. Like soldering a pubic hair but will cause less damage if you break it.

Same for me!
Also I feel like soldering to testpads is a more "cleaner" way of doing things. But that might just be me and my ocd. :)

You have to solder on the underside anyways if you want to wire to the RCM Strap :)

Nope!

There is a pad on front. Tiny though.

You right in what you say, if people struggle, they better sticking to the testpoints :)

What in the royal fuck are you blabbering about now? You do realise this is simply a way to inject the payload to allow you to boot Atmosphere or ReiNX. Seriously get a clue.

And soldering to the E10 is the same trace as soldering to the resistor?

Also does anyone know if it will ever put more effort on the resistance having bigger chance for it to burn with the chip installed in the long run?

I think I will wait for atmosphere 1st, add a physical button to my joy-con, test with phone for a while and wait for reports a few months from now from ppl using modchips and see if it ever gives problems...

yes but itsnt that soldering to the cap we usually do, whats with the points under the board.

i dont mind soldering under the board to avoid tiny soldering to caps

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

any one checked this,
could be hell of alot easier to use the other points
