So today I joined the dark side and started using SX OS. I know my time is limited, so is there anything I should do before the ban hammer falls (if it hasn't already)?

I downloaded Pokemon Quest as I saw that can be used for devmenu. Is there anything else?

Can you ask them to explain? Maybe squeeze a bit of info out of them on how it happened.
Yeah I asked them in a follow up mail.
I dont expect much from that really but who knows.
On a sidenote I have no idea if all the Nintendo entities are created equally and if Nintendo NL even is the one I should be addressing.
Let's see how it plays out.

This is why I tell everyone there is a difference between not being banned and being safe. Bans are dished out at random. It still does suck that you were banned (I'm glad you are not distraught) but this is evidence that Nintendo knows whose been naughty and whose been nice. Also, you didn't indicate whether you received a certificate ban or not (error code is 2124-4025). \
Never had any errors whatsoever while using Homebrew or SX OS, just a low internet signal one, and then the ban one. All this means is that the moment you boot custom code Ninty knows it and you're flagged or rather the Switch.

Just saw this on Discord. Is this true?

Hello all I bring some new infomation on nintendo ban wave.
1: Okay people who are using airplane mode will be banned from nintendo there isnt a way around it.
2: Online detection auto banning is now in place this meaning if you own a hacked switch and go online at all it'll be banned.
3: Nintendo cart detection data base is live from 14/7/18 all game's ported are now detected by silent update's therefore recomended to hold off updating anything or even trying to update rom's.
4: This one is interesting silent update's what is this ? How it works i have no clue but it's a thing im guessing to protect from rom hacking who know's no info was said by nintendo on this but from what they did say it's going to make porting game's a nightmare to hackers due to some code's they will be rolling out on upcoming game's eh wha nintendo i hear you guy's thinking.

AND LASTLY FUCK NINTENDO ..........

ReSwitched Discord? Can you at least give us the username if you remember?
Nah it's on my FFXIV discord for Novice Network. One of the users in it just posted it midway through a conversation about SX I was having with a friend. It was so specific I wasn't sure if it was reliable or not.

Welp, it probably is just a hoax that happened to catch your eye. Or who knows, maybe there is some truth behind the message. Kinda reminds of that 4chan post that was taken down in the ktemkin drama thread.

I don't think there's really any room to doubt that Nintendo can detect SX OS in the sysNAND.
Exactly, I think that the moment you boot CFW there has to be logs we can't see. It sucks that I can't play online if I want but sucks more that Nintendo blocks the eShop because I was buying games, bought Hollow Knight, was planning on buying Smash Bros. Ultimate....they don't want my money no more so at least I finally tried .nsp installs, which you can argue pros and cons with .xci but you can't argue loading times and not "changing" cartridges.

You can still buy eShop games from the webpage.
