Hacking Question Sx pro Nintendo switch repairs

Already considered repairing it myself my mother was not on board with the idea. And all the local nintendo repair centers I called had no idea what i was talking about when I asked them about it.
I mean take it to a local electronics repair shop. Electronics are electronics, and I don't think using a screwdriver and soldering iron are exclusive abilities of Nintendo Repair Centers.

And why the hell would you involve your mother... ffs...

Oh it's being sent in tomorrow ,but I'll try to see what I can do.

R.I.P. Switch.

Seriously though if you are sending it in please follow up with what happens.
Will do, and what should I do to make sure as many people as possible to see the follow up and inform them on what to expect?? (all caps, exclamation marks, etc.)

Yes. I'm very curious. Despite what I said previously, I'm guessing they don't notice. But who knows. It would be easy to tell if you were looking for it.

He's a minor and his mother might have paid for it. Surely you were young once too.
Yup, starting taking my toys apart when I was 6. Definitely did not ask for permission. If I did I would not have learned anything.

Right joycon rail on switch damaged, because i used a paper clip being impatient waiting for my jig to arrive.
Dude, just get someone to buy a new one and take the rail off it then return the new one with the messed up rail. Bestbuy is best for this. No questions asked.

OP, even if they knew, they wouldn't do anything. It's not illegal, they'd probably, at worst, give you a ban and ship it back. But that's pretty unlikely.

Oh and by the way, to throw them off I'm gonna remove the microsd, wipe the console, create a new profile and NOT link a nintendo account, and insert 2 of my legit game cards to make them appear on my home screen as if those are the only games I'd played.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Or would be better to restore a nand backup before I had used sx pro? (still after i used hekate and layeredfs though)
