Some user by the name of "Ping Long" apparently staff of Team Xecuter logged onto SimonMKWii's discord and started discouraging the devs from cracking SXOS and asking everyone to buy their product with bad english.
It was pretty funny at the time to be honest and people just won't let the joke go.

I can see that joke lasting for a couple of months, just like Tiny Soldering Guy.

I guess you could use a cancerous tumor as an analogy; the ReSwitched team had a terminal illness, and the only way to recover is by removing the malignant tumor, in this case, the snitch. Yes, some people are that virulent.

ReSwitched is comprised of some devs from the 3DS era, namely SciresM who introduces us to B9S which revolutionized the 3DS scene to say the least. K on the other hand came out of nowhere and was met with...mixed reception. Ktemkin did not appear until the Switch scene was a thing.

It's not really super certain at this time. Looks like Ktemkin took an exploit and sold it out, but maybe they didn't get a payout. Then SciresM excommunicated her, and publically denounced them. Then it all unraveled from there. Now, another Reswitched member went out in a blaze of glory saying SciresM was in the wrong for doing what he did. Kate claims Scires never discussed anything with her over it. Nothing's totally 100% figured out yet.

Honestly i would side with the guy that has already been a part of the nintendo scene for 2 consoles and released a shit ton of things, also human nature is a bitch, specially when large sums of money are involved.

I'll admit, we know she made an honest mistake and it's being overblown like she stole something. Let's be honest here, they're acting rather childishly. Which... Really isn't new...

No you don't know that, thats what you want to believe it was... Rather it appears more like dishonesty masquerading as 'an honest mistake', at least that's what she hoped for us all to believe!

Please stop using "bug bounty" when so much has been stated to refute that.

What has been stated to refute it? With more information its now know that she sent it to google of all people and they do have payouts, and they're the pure evil company ("don't be evil" yea right they got rid of that since they haven't been following it for a long time), they shouldn't of gotten any information first, they should've been the last to know anything!

Whether or not it was an honest mistake or a malicious act is still unknown.

This! Of course someone acting maliciously would like you to believe they only made an honest mistake, so they could get away with it... Well it seems not everyone is as dumb as she hoped!

@Syrelash Kate submitted a Pixel C bug to Google. (Pixel C also uses the TX1 found in Switch) the bug in question was a bootrom bug found by SciresM and disclosed to her in confidence. She then broke that confidence by including it as proof of concept for a 3rd bug she was disclosing to Google. Scires than reacted by banning Kate from Reswitched. The bug bounty program in question had a max payout of $200k, but we have no proof of her receiving any money for it yet, and she rejects that she has. Regardless the big issue for the community is that the exploit she reported was saved to be used on future Switch's both those that are now coming with the ipatches to prevent fusee gelee and the future mariko units, meaning those will now not be able to have HB

Yes Hexal that appears to word it the best for what we know... Knowing that it would also effect the switch, she formulated this 'oh I just made an honest mistake' premeditated idea of what to try make it appear like and saw those dollar $ign$ and abandoned all common sense and judgement to realize that wouldn't work on us and just went for it! I hope she thinks whatever that chump change payout for her is was worth it, ruined her credibility forever!
