Just recently hopped on the CFW bandwagon.. so glad to be rid of Gateway now...

I have two issues tho

1. I have a new Nintendo 3DS so taking off the backcover everytime I want to put something on is a pain in the butt. Is there a tool available for transferring files over WIFI? the microsd utility doesnt work with my mac or windows 10 machine fyi.

2. I'm trying to play Bravely second and people have suggested save editors to injection villagers then exporting it... which programs do i use for this?

3. Is it safe to play CIA files online now? I know its all changed for the Switch so was wondering if Nintendo found a workaround for the 3DS

1. For smaller file you can use like ftp methods, large files size you should connect it to a computer.

2. Use jksm to export the save and use the villager editor to edit the amount of villager. And then use jksm again to import the save.

3. There are bans for people using custom version of games, playing online with modified data like in pokemon and playing online before games come out due to games being leak.

You can always just leave the back plate unscrewed. It stays on way better than it should.

Use Checkpoint to export your save (JKSM is a much older program) and look around for a save editor online.

Yep.

For FTP apps, if you can't make the official microSD management app work, chances are you won't get a homebrew one working.

as far i know, it never worked with macs and uses an old smb sharing protocol which w10 doesnt use anymore.

if there was an ftp type app, im sure that would work and be quite easy to set up and access..

This is because, for some reason, Ninty blacklisted Macs from accessing it. Why? We have no clue.

It's possible to reenable it, not too hard either. I don't remember how I did it, but it used the same menu as the one with the option for enabling the Windows Subsystem for Linux.

FTPD.
