@tomGER Sooo, what's up with the updated files? You only added ftp-support, right?

Could someone please clarfiy how I enter my switch via ftp with it being activated in the boot menu?
What do I have to type into my browser to enter the switchs filesystem or sd card? Or do I have to use a FTP-Client?

Nope, but CTCaer has stated he has started working on fixing it after he released V3.0

It's out now though :)
I have a big question about LayeredFS, when I want to use with the actual game (cartridge) and want to add stuff thru LayeredFS such an update, I don't have to patch the main.ndpsomething file right? do I still need the exefs right? the only files I need is exefs and romfs (whatever im trying to replace is in romfs right? because Im trying to update XC2 thru LayeredFS (Voice pack and all) and the game just wont see the files?

Thank you for this new 5.1 version!

Here is my experience with this version on 4.0.1 (and hekate_ctcaer_3.1.bin as payload):
- I still need a patched kernel if I wish to use LayeredFS
- When I boot with the FTP support, the homebrew browser doesn't work: it says it cannot find "switch" folder in my SD card then I get a FW crash when I press home button
- The FTP itself seems much more reliable than FTPD (I did not get any crash while using it)

That is weird, Hekate v3.1 should have fixed kernel patches for fw 4.x

Yes, this is what I thought when I read the changelog: "The Fusée patches for 4.X are now fixed".
But if I don't add "kernel=modules/kernel-patched.bin" line in "hekate_ipl.ini" (with the appropriate "kernel-patched.bin" on my SD card), my LayeredFS backup games don't start.

Did you make sure that the config section you were booting had "atmosphere=1" in it? If you were using an older hekate_ipl.ini, it may have had "fuseepatch=1".

@Drakia : It seems it was my mistake, my first test with SD files v5.1 was including FTP and, by default "atmosphere=1" is missing for this category.
Now, I removed my "kernel=modules/kernel-patched.bin" and replaced it by "atmosphere=1" and everything works fine.
Thank you!
