Hardware How much does a Day One Switch Goes for?

I'm just wondering i dont think its version 1.0 right? maybe a bit higher? only those reviewers got those right?

You only want a 1.0 Switch if you care about coldboot.

It's worth $300, same as any other Switch. Not that you're likely to get that much by selling it. Why buy it from you when it's on store shelves? Certainly not getting that much from Gamestop.

If Nintendo fixes entry points on newer models, it would be worth as much as all pretty much up to now that have the entry point. so being Day 1 I don't think will change much in pricing to the rest out there now. Maybe in like 20 years day 1 sealed in box might be worth something though lol

Don't listen to these guys, a 1.0 Switch is worth a lot, more and more as time passes. I wouldn't sell it yet, hang onto it for later down the line, that Switch will be worth an incredible amount.

Every Switch 1. Gen will be "worth an incredible amount" when that 2. Gen will be out.
A 1.0 right now will sell for max 100€ more I guess, I dont think someone would pay much more.

And actually it's not a hardware revision counting (yet). It's the firmware version on the switch. Did your cousin really never update the switch since he got it? Then it might be worth a little more.

Yep he is waiting on moving out he is in college and i will ask him to sell me his. it's a day one switch he waited in line like me.
so i doesn't have the first patch everyone got.

Will ask him to lend it to me to send some pics.

Tbh It’s only worth as much as any Switch as of right now until the coldboot Exploit (if it’s possible) is released for 1.0 or a new revision of the switch releases blocking rcm mode so wait either a full year or sell it for $300
