why do we need a writeup of his nonsense?
Why do we need your pretentious posts?

Couldn't help myself there. Why should I trust someone who has 74 posts and barely does any contribution ever?
This is a hacker who has been in the console hacking scene for so many years. Why shouldn't we take his words seriously?

because he clearly knows better than us, the exact fact he's working on it and fiving examples of how to reproduce the brick, should be enough. I am an sx pro user and i can't believe people are so blinded to even justify this shit. I don't like to play knowing i have a timing bomb in my hands, as unlikely as it could be to happen to common joes like us. That code should be removed, endo of the story.

i didnt say you should trust me. but you can sit there twiddling your thumbs and i'll enjoy my switch with an endless supply of currently available games. if it gets bricked (which is likely won't), i'll say: that's the risk I took. in the meantime, i'll enjoy those games.

well he is biased against tx, and has people follow him like sheep, when we see people getting bricked, we will worry, because he even contradicts himself each time he speaks of bricks, even if it happens we already know the password if its that

Don’t have a Switch, but any interest I would’ve had in this was lost the second I read the phrase “closed source” combined with a relatively shady company/team which raises far too many red flags in my personal opinion, combine that with the brickcode (assuming it’s real) and now we’ve reached the point of a tragic and very messy explosion at Bill’s Red Flag Emporium.
Honestly, I would just wait for Atmosphere if I were you guys. I’m sure that a backup loader for it will inevitably emerge at some point in time anyway, to say that one won’t is, to be frank, a little bit silly.

Well, just wait until the full write-up is done, and we'll see for ourselves but honestly I don't see much bias.

Not surprising really, I bet that's what the worked the most on. But no matter what happens, there will always be those to defend TX because they made a piracy loader, regardless of stolen code and bricking code.

SX OS is malware.

Well, they actually didn't make it, all they did is re-using atmosphere's code and pushing xci files to the system (by decrypting and recrypting them really quickly...) with a very simple signature patcher, nothing else.

in 2 years the switch will be obsolete.

Your whole statement is wrong. However, I singled this part out because it's the worst offender. In 2 years? Like the Xbox 360 lasted what.. 11 years I think? Hell the Wii U got a few out of it, and it was pretty much DOA.

Anyways, it being outdated in a few years means nothing. People still run their modded Xbox originals... gba flashcards... Age means nothing. If the system is good, it'll live on.

And what tells us that what he writes is true, you must believe everything he says? he is completely biased like the other crybaby dev

I hope you're not talking about Hexkyz, because he's really not a crybaby, for sure. And hum, "we" trust him because he is a reliable source, is that too much to ask ?

EDIT : I probably shoudn't have launched myself into this debate, I know participating in those things is always a bad idea lmao

Honestly compared to something that for me is literally something that allows piracy and is made for that in mind, and how Gateway's DRM was actually a thing, yes, honestly, I have reasons to believe.

Than maybe it's your SD card or bad dump. I've been playing games for one week flawlessly except for a bad snipperclips dump that I switched later. Works like a charm
Mario kart downloaded legit purchase from eshop downloaded to system storage. Same download I’ve been using since last year when it came out.

As Hexkyz dives deeper into a codebase stolen from other devs (including himself), we come to find out that the brickcode isn't just a NAND lock. It turns out the brick situation is far worse and far more nefarious as well as able to be triggered without even a need to tamper with the system:

SX OS is malware.

Ok, so lets start by tearing apart this argument.

"It turns out the brick situation is far worse"

Worse in what way? We still didn't get that write-up and we have no information, you're just spreading FUD.

"and far more nefarious"

Do you know something that we don't know? No? Again ,spreading FUD. Wait for the write-up.

"as well as able to be triggered without even a need to tamper with the system"

Again, do you know something that we don't know? Stop spreading FUD and wait for the write-up.

"SX OS is malware"

Definition of Malware:
software which is specifically designed to disrupt, damage, or gain authorized access to a computer system.

SXOS was not designed to damage a users switch. It has destructive code in it, but that's not what it was designed for. It was designed for backup loading.

Experts say you're more likely to win the lottery or be struck by a comet then have sx os randomly brick you, dont believe the hype!!
