Strange... which title you are trying to trim?
If it say that there is used data... probably it is, because I check all the bytes.
Let me know, if I have that xci I will try
Owlboy and Super Chariot. Like the other dude says, if i try the exact same title with windows it trims it with no problems

Everytime i try to trim a game it says that it found used data and its gonna abort the process. If i try the exact same game with the windows versions it trims it with no problem

Same for me. Just uncheck the 'check free space' option and it works (it's the split 4gb option you're after, and that works now with SXOS)

@ddaaxx I can't split an already trimmed xci. It says "ROM is already trimmed!" which is correct because I already trimmed it before, but it should continue to do the split since the option was selected.

I pushed v.0.5.
Now the free space check is slowly but more accurate.
I uploaded also Linux version.

For the split only function, at the moment is not available.... todo

File browser doesn't work on Linux for me

ERROR: No native FileDialog implementation available.
Qt Labs Platform requires Qt Widgets on this setup.
Add 'QT += widgets' to .pro and create QApplication in main().

I’ll check why... on which distro?

I’m using Ubuntu 16.04 and it works correctly.
I will try to rebuild with widgets enabled so you can try it

@ddaaxx it works now, it's using a very old file browser though. All my other QT based programs use this file browser:

How the file browser looks in your program: (It's not working too well with my dark theme either)

I have no way to chose it... it use the default from Linux system.
In Ubuntu is different, because it uses the one qmlengine loads.
Btw... is the software working?

Can't test the trim functionality since all my games are already trimmed. Once Uncut/Join is implemented I'll test that for you.

Hey, just found this thread via google and wanted to ask if it‘s already fully functional/if all functions of newest xci-cutter for windows are included.
Would be great because as people are recommended to use FAT32 there is a tool needed to split the files and i don‘t own a windows pc only macOS :)
