I finally got a switch! After a few months of saving i finally got one

Its on 2.2.0
Please guys what homebrew emulators work for it
I'm scared of using a jig and i dont evem know how to make one. Evem if i had one i'd prolly break the joycon rails plus i dont even know where to get a good usb cable without buying a pro controller

Umm what are some software exploits just for homebrew on 2.20 fw id like to run backups is possible or emulators
And does it cause desync??

Atm i only have a 2gb sd card so i just wanna play gba nes snes lol

The best thing to do in my opinion, is wait.
I don't know what games you're eager to play but you could potentially update to something like 4.1.0 if you wanna play Zelda.
The only benefit you would have with 2.0.0 is a cold or warmboot solution, this means that you don't have to connect your Switch to a pc to load a exploit (if you turned your switch completely off. If you keep your switch in Standy then there won't be a big difference.)

But If you really wanna enjoy some emulators (which are not fully compatible), get yourself a USB C cable from Amazon, Anker for example.
Then you could also get a jig from ebay for low money.
Idk about the desync, I guess it only desyncs when using Linux and something else I can't remember.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Take a look at lakka.tv and pSnesX or how it is called (a Snes Emulator).

Still on 2.2.0?

I would update to 5.1.0

Latest hackable Version > Buy TX OS Pro > use included jig for one time > activate autoRCM > no jig needed anymore
HOr buy a 3d printed jig or do a joycon mod or use a paperclip with atmosphere, hekate or something else)

Maybe next firmware is unhackable and you missed your chance to update...

I'm on 2.3 and I don't want to miss that sweet coldboot feature so I'm waiting. I have contacted TX the other day and they confirmed emunand is coming. At the moment I'm playing Castlevania with the gba emulator, pretty good game to pass the time and use the console.

Sounds like a stupid move to me.
Upgrading pass 3.0.0 is not advised
Best thing to do is wait it out. You can install homebrew all you want on the firmware your currently on

I'm not really sure as I don't have one on fw 2.2.0 though I'd pop that bitch in flight mode and keep it offline as 1.0-3.0 might get coldboot. Hope you have fun with your 2.2.0 switch ^^
