so idea transfer all ur main saves to a next account now u have the same data for online but e-shop purchases from that account maybe done unless u can get the from Nintendos site and it will install but not sure how long tha`tll work

The Switch console itself is banned. Transferring to other accounts wont help

is it fully banned cuz didn`t ur system open for u to select the e-shop have tried opening a game on another profile/ main profile in airplane mode cuz if just an error code for that account shouldn`t u be able to acces games offline or they don`t work? also if it is a console ban I wonder with ur save injected to the non main account that's ban can u still recover the non ban account I guess I`ll find out if I get ban lol and get another switch

Yeah I get the same error on all accounts. The only way to overcome this is for Nintendo to unban me which is very unlikely or to buy a new Switch. Be careful not to get banned because it sucks lol.

I have a homebrew virgin switch that I intend to use with SX OS. I've never done anything with this console but use it legitimately. I don't care if it gets banned, is there any grey area things I could do to sacrifice it for the greater good so we know for sure that doing X will get you banned?

Already made a report on google forms (just found it easier than the thread, tbh). Haven't been banned yet, have used LayeredFS though mostly to run skyrim mods. Have dreported every single time I left RomFS (which was frequently due to a lot of crashes with Skyrim). Am *hoping* I don't get banned, been lucky so far.

how do you use nx-dreport? I've heard of people clearing error logs but not sure how myself and where can I get it?

It's part of tomger's SDFiles and most of the modified versions thereof people are spreading around for doing LayeredFS stuff. It's the option "Clear Logs" in the Hekate menu.

If for whatever reason you don't have an option like that in your menu, but you do have an nx-dreport.kip in your modules directory, then you just need to add this to hekate_ipl.ini:

[ Clear Log]
kip1=modules/nx-dreport.kip

It will clear your logs and then boot you into what is otherwise OFW.

*** I used a separate account to play layered backups (always offline with airplane), with the first bans reported here on gbatemp i unlinked, deleted the account, saves and even all the donor games then made a clear logs through hekate.

My question is how do u even activate SX OS without activating the internet...saw someone activate it and he had to turn off airplane mode then once it was activated turned it back on...I was thinking...well that probably got him banned in that minute or so he was online.

So, my switch is now banned as of this morning. I was booting into Hekate to run Retroarch cores for the past 2 weeks. I've never used AutoRCM, never used LayeredFS. Never been a problem up until now. I *did* clear the logs yesterday night however which I have never done before, and gets up this morning to see the console banned.

To me, it seems like clearing the logs is a big red flag.

You know what's funny, some people here preached about piracy and how it will get you banned... but they created the tools for modding and cheating which they thought were not illegal - turns out that Nintendo hates them even more.

Nintendo(or Sony/Microsoft) treats homebrew and piracy as the same thing. They will try to stop both. A lot of people either don't get it or refuse to believe it.
