Why do you call this "Piracy Syndrome"?
Ever heard about Steam?
So true. the majority of the games I bought on steam I haven't even played once.

They didn't necessarily mean 'backup' loading from usb, what they meant was is that they might develop an SX product for users who never take their switch out of their docks, but only if the demand is high enough.
I think what you're saying would be the assumption not the other way around. Also it's known that the majority of switch users play in handheld mode so the demand is not high.

It's not for loading backups. It's only for people who don't want to undock the switch to launch SX OS.

Me:
"I don't know if you've mentioned this before but USB drive would be really nice for me since I only use the switch in docked mode.

thank you very much. "

Them:
"Hello Comp,

we will have a solution in the future for docked mode only."

your reading comprehension needs improvement.

You never talk about backup loading.

Mmmm... My 500 GB hard drive is ready. It's not much but it's good enough for the Swtich
Ran out of space with my 128 GB microSD card:rofl:

Are you able to play all this content though?
Think about it: won't it be better to have your faves on the go while the rest is archived somewhere and could be accessed if need be?
With all the emulators around (NES, SNES, Megadrive and soon PSX, N64, PSP, etc) along with the Switch games you might be so overwhelmed that you won't have any serious playtime.

they're not noobs. Do you really think that most people would just want a way to launch SX-OS from dock instead of a dongle VS. loading backups from USB? I know the answer and so do they.
Yes, but not very clear...
Wait and see !

Ohhhh !!!!!
I remember in the faq they said they will add usb support soon
You're talking about that ?

Q: Is TX coming up with solution for those that leave their Switch always 'docked'?
Its nice, that is portable, but some users never go 'portable', they are DOCK only fans, what about them?
A:
If the demand is there, it is something we can develop.

Not very clear too.

Dude, be careful of getting the Piracy Syndrome (having too much games that you don’t play any of them because you can’t decide which one to play) ... it’s really... really.. bad.
Again this is not the cause of piracy. It's simply the problem of having too many of it. Ask anyone with any large library. Be it DVDs, VHS, RetroGames, steam library, anything you can collect in large amounts and you'll eventually get tired of it.

Does anyone use multiple micro sd cards to store games? How easy is it to manage both cards? Is there anything tedious about keeping them functional?

Yes, but not very clear...
Wait and see !

No this

  • Q: Is it possible to play games from a External Harddrive?
Does SX allow us to use an external disk using the docking station or USB-C port?
    A:
This is a possibility in the future, we've added it to our to do list. (thanks to all users for making it already a few pages long)
