We don't know which game specific information is stored in the certificate but since the Japanese header and the American header might not match, it's wrong to say that there isn't any risk.
Yeah its what I thought, but its the only game i would actually try to play a backup online.

Okay! Confirmed this works! I just tried it out, following an easy guide in the exploits section (won't let me link).

You ONLY need 1 cartridge game. Then just import that cert into your online game, and enjoy. I used super bomberman certification to activate Rocket League.
thanks for the info, keep us posted if anything’s big changes

I’m on 5.1.0, I believe my fuses have already been burned when I updated. I’m sure everyone who ordered SX Pro have updated to 5.1.0. I don’t understand how they can protect a 5.1.0 switch from burning fuses. Maybe I’m wrong?

The fuses get burned when the OS loads, so if you always boot into RCM (easy with autorcm) and the payload patches out the fuse setting. Then you can update without burning fuses.

About inserting your cert, didn't SciresM say that Nintendo did do a check if the cert actually is legit towards the game? So in the end that should flag that it's the wrong cert on injected games, and possibly ban later on.

Yes so despite TX being nice enough to confirm that users can now inject certificates to allow backups to play online, they may have inadvertently (or completely advertently) banned most of their customers.

They've said in their FAQ that if you go online in CFW mode you're at a risk, so it's the customer choice lol. TBH most people I've seen using SX aren't giving a shit about bans, since Nintendo still hasn't done anything major.

This is true but I also do not want users or people to make new accounts complaining that they were banned or weren't warned about the risk of being banned because everybody else couldn't care less about being banned

!!!
Did you see what i see?!

To play online your game (XCI) files need to have a unique certificate embedded. We now properly emulate these certificates, so dumps that have them embedded will be able to play online!

THIS PROBABLY MEANS YOU CAN DUMP A CERTIFICATE FROM A CERTAIN GAME AND INJECT IT TO ANOTHER GAME !
So we don't have to own the same game to do this
Um no, that's not what it means.

I said probably
Also it’s been confirmed that it’s working as multiple users did it and confirmed it’s working perfectly
There was never doubt in anyone's mind that you could inject a foreign header into a scene dump and play online. What we did not know was if it was as safe it was back in the 3DS days which we now know it is not. If you choose to ignore the risks, then you also accept the consequences of being banned in the future.

Is there a way for me to get my 3.0.0 working with exfat 128GB sdxc?
You can follow one of the following tutorials
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-the-exfat-driver-without-updating-2-x.505176/

Is it safe if you play legit cart online in stock FW and xci in sx os?
We don't know for certain. TX says it is safe, but there is always the chance that the Switch is logging data when you use SX OS that is retained even after exiting SX OS and turning off the console
