Read my above post, the problem seems to be Nintendo can detect if a cart is being loaded physically in the game slot vs internally/microsd,injecting your own cert or changing the header seems to be a temporary solution for some people but it will 100% be flagged soon
you're flagged for no punctuation

So you don't think Nintendo will make a distinction between a shared cert that has been shared over popular piracy sites/torrents which have been downloaded/used 1000's of times vs someone buying and dumping a cart cert that may get used a few times?

Nintendo are not going to kill off used switch sales by banning tons of used carts because that would be a disaster for a number of game chains and cause endless issues...

Edit: Ok so according to this youtube vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=293&v=waJxvBBAc84 they aren't banning anything but instead being able to detect a cart isn't being loaded via the game slot which makes sense.

So the issue seems to be to trick the switch into thinking dumped carts loading off internal or microsd are coming from the game slot, not sure if that sounds possible?
First of all, Nintendo does not make any money off of used games so what they do to them has no bearing on Nintendo. Nintendo has no responsibility towards helping used games sales. That responsibility falls solely on those who buy and sell used games. Its a completely unregulated market.

Secondly, that's a gross over-exaggeration. Outside of GBATemp, the word hacker has a very negative connotation regardless of the purpose you hack your console for. Hacking scenes have always been small in number due to this as well as other factors such as the complexity to execute certain hacks, the fact that this type of information is not necessarily readily available, etc.

Thirdly, no Nintendo is most certainly banning game certificates and people seem to forget they already did this on the 3DS. That was when people wised up and stopped sharing them as if 2 or more people go online using the same one, its an obvious red flag. Now they have extra checks in place to see if the certificate matches the game cartridge in which case if it doesn't, its flagged and could spell a future ban.

Good update. But what exactly is this Card2 people keep mentioning? I assume it's different from Card2 on 3DS seeing as Switch games don't save to the cart at all.
Actually it's quite similar.
It's a different type of card used for Switch games, and the system handles them somewhat differently, which is why TX OS doesn't support them at the moment. Same thing as with Gateway and the first Type 2 cartridges (Pokemon)

Final Burn Alpha still has the same issues as before. Wrestlefest's sound runs slow with this release as well, whereas with regular hekate, it was working fine.

If you still have the files on the SD card you can load hekate as an external payload from the SX OS options menu.

The only way to do that is to restart the system though. I like being able to actually play homebrew and games without having to power cycle.

So quick question to anybody who knows. If I was to format my SD card and it deletes my license file how do I go about getting it back if I lost my license code I received in my email? Or do I even need that code anymore?

Create a backup of your license file. If you loose it, SX OS will recognize that and you can't use all features anymore.

Okay! Confirmed this works! I just tried it out, following an easy guide in the exploits section (won't let me link).

You ONLY need 1 cartridge game. Then just import that cert into your online game, and enjoy. I used super bomberman certification to activate Rocket League.

If, and when, you are banned, please also report that back to us.

I am wondering if it would be safe to add my splatoon 2 japanese cart id to a american version of the game and play online with it.
Always hated that the game didnt have English.

"safe" shake an 8-ball and that will be as legit as what anyone says here. We just dont know what will Nintendo will do. However it looks like it will work.

We don't know which game specific information is stored in the certificate but since the Japanese header and the American header might not match, it's wrong to say that there isn't any risk.

I’m on 5.1.0, I believe my fuses have already been burned when I updated. I’m sure everyone who ordered SX Pro have updated to 5.1.0. I don’t understand how they can protect a 5.1.0 switch from burning fuses. Maybe I’m wrong?
