So yeah, injecting BotW cert into MK8 dump worked and it didn't kick me out. Played couple of races online to confirm it works. So new SX OS does emulate the cert as long as the dump has a cert, doesn't matter from which game.

Wait so any cert can be used on any cart and it will work online?

I dunno other cases but I know it worked with above combination. Also massive risk of ban so don't do it if you care about online.

This is how it worked in LFS access, so this isn't a surprise. The cert is authentic but it's not checking the game immediately. It just means any later inspection will ban the cert.

You could go online with a nonsense cert for a while on the original release this OS, so checks aren't upfront.

everyone needs to get with the program and buy used nintendo switch games from gamestop, dump them with their respective certs via WAIN, and then return them to get your money woney honey back. I've been playing online since tuesday and no ban yet. lmao thanks gamestop

How did you insert the cert?

Noob Question here - but could not find informations.

If I want to from SX OS (with AutoRCM) to Original OS and then back to SX OS -> do i need to redo the Jig VOL POWER Combination?

Asking because i want to Update the Switch Firmware (for exFAT) Support. I am not sure - is there a difference where to make the System Switch Update?
SX OS vs Original OS?
If you have autoRCM on you dont have to press any vol button, just load the payload in RCM

I hope USB support comes after cart2 support. I'm not a huge fan of MicroSD write speeds and overall stability.

We just confirmed, that SX OS not patched Fuse-Check only Fuse-Burn. So if you use 5.1 with the Flash Method (while you are on 4.X so you have 5 Fuses burned) the System Refuse to start.

SX Still need Patch the Fuse "Check" so unless, their Fuse-Burn Protection is useless. They just rushed it =(

It is actually a legit BotW cert so I don't think Nintendo servers check the combination of both cert and dump upfront, at least for now. If its a fake cert or one used by multiple users at the same time they'll ban it, but if its legit one then looks like they'll let any dump that uses it in the mp servers.

Yes that's what I mean. But they also let nonsense certs pass initially from 1.0 until something on their backeupdated. Which means they're accepting CID and a 'cert' upfront then later revoking a 'cert'. LayeredFS accessing online would have also passed the wrong cert.

So basically we don't learn anything here until we see if it persists. But the risk of mismatching certs and game-ids makes this untennable regardless.

May then you can use 1 Legit Cert of one of your Games and use it for multiple Dumps (Different Games) use at your own. May Nintendo wont detect because you can only play one at a Time

Cert still knows what game it belongs to, and you're requesting access to a different one. May as well just call Nintendo support at that point.
