Hi !
So after 3 years on GBATemp, i've decided to make my first useful thread
So here people can share if they where banned while using SX OS. in order to find out what the cause and to find some workaround to avoid getting banned​

To describe the event please use this form as a sample:

[*]Backups updated with what Firmware: Not tried updating! - however, after a restart at some point my WIFI turned on while on OFW and it started downloading updates on my backups.. I immediately shutdown WIFI.

I was able to download to Demo when I went to ESHOP.

hope this help out others.. I am wondering though, if anyone has thought of this.. even when you are offline when you boot to SX OS and load a backup game for the very first time, Nintendo knows right away that there is an update.. how can this be? your offline and its the first time you ever booted that game.. does this means Nintendo is pushing update info to our devices even though we dont have that game? Any thoughts on this?

I updated some backups in OFW by mistake (i forgor I had the ethernet connected to the dock) and I'm still able to play online and use E-Shop.

Well in the ps4 we have a limit to the firmware so bannings are not happening but on the switch there is no limit for the firmware versino

No, just installing game updates to the system directly. And ones that other users dump from their own systems.

what i mean is once the os is released in a couple of days and more devs get hold of a working build, you will see creative stuff made
thats why im sure the game updates wont be an issue.

Everyone that bought SX OS and SX PRO should be alert of this cause if Nintendo starts noticing shit that is unfamiliar when the Switch is online using the SX OS or SX PRO, it can cause a huge ban wave and they might attack the resellers.

Someone who doesn't care about playing multiplayer games. I never took any precautions with my 3ds and as far as I know it didn't get banned. I didn't order one but if I did I wouldn't care if my Switch got banned, you can still play games.

Well i think this is better than installing NSA aka titles
We might have a chance that we won't get banned at all, like they can't find out that we are using backups
