im guessing every game gets gold until is registered same way it was with nintendo codes.

that doesn't make any sense since stores still have the games at full price if you buy them, and i did register cards of nintendo points of used games that had way over a year, heck i remnber i went through my gba collection back on ds days and registered some of my gba games too.
