Yeah true. It’s just what bugs me, if I’m spending my £40.00 I want to see more hard facts, the reality of what I’m buying, if say it’s out the factory ready for resellers why not show us all more hard evidence of how it works I mean why not? that’s what I want to see.

They may be profiting off of piracy but they have a number of features that they created for ease of access for the end user:
* They Created a dongle and a jig for the end user
* They created a friendly install package for there CFW
* They added Sleep Mode, backup launcher and homebrew on launch for all firmware
* On Going support

All of this for $50 is pretty good.

I have the comfort of knowing that once i get the chip i will beable to play backups and access homebrew easily and i don't have to wait for a *FREE* backup loader to be released.

In saying the above, once a cold boot persistent CFW is created i will move over to that (But that could be months or years away)

Are you saying TX implements code within Michaels cfw for it to work? Suppose that’s a theory.

Also how can TX give a release date for the SXPro if the cfw hasn’t even been finished unless he is working with the team.

Tx download atmosphere source, look over it and make edits to it, this is called a 'fork'. From then on they have no reliance on atmosphere code, though they may peruse any updates made to it to add into their own implementation.

That's assuming they started from atmosphere code, which we have no idea if they did or not.

So the original developer or team have zero input and don't need to be paid off or any conspiracy like that.

Atmosphere is open source but it is also under GPL v2 license. If (and this is a big If) TX used Atmosphere's code then they have to provide the source files.

If they did, I don't expect them to comply anyways.

It seems likely that they've developed their own CFW, but it's also possible they borrowed parts of Atmosphere.

Their method of loading backups was developed by Team Xecuter.

SciresM is anti-piracy.

There is nothing about Atmosphere's source that functions as a backup loader.

That's not evidence they didn't use Atmosphere's source code. That just means they made their own proprietary graphics to go along with their product. The only thing they showed off that SciresM didn't develop is the backup loader.

Garyopa's new 5.1.0 thread was what I wanted to see I just had to know more about the product before I bought one and the fact it was supposed to be released in just over a weeks time I wasn't confident enough in the product to hand over my £40.00. I just wish he had dropped that thread before I made this one but yes that did it for me and tbh I think it looks great, really I have ordered one, not totally on the fact it does "back ups" it just looks really intuitive and interesting.

As atmosphere has not been shown working at all why would TX use any of their code. Wasnt Xecuter SX announced first?

Even if SX based on atmosphere, so what? For now, SX is 100% complete and now TX just making improvements, to fulfill customers requests. Atmosphere is even not near compare to SX OS,not even mention about that after athmo did see it release, it will start wave of bricked switch which is inevitable.
