yea anyone who says to buy a 2nd switch just for hacks is lucky he's born with a silver spoon in his ass because he live comfortably without having the IQ for a 10 year old.

the switch here costs 600$

Got a friend who did it, but he does have more money than he needs. He isn't rich, just works a lot and has fewer bills

I bought my second switch for $600 (it's a 1.0.0 to that's why it cost a premium when i bought it). The whole point I go to work is for my kids, and if i can't spend the money on them, then why am I busting my balls earning what I earn?.

I exist so that they may have a nice life and an easy life, their happiness is my happiness. Nothing brings me more happiness than to see them happy.

I'm not rich but I am not poor. Your silver spoon analogy is plain wrong.

System versions with the same expected number of burnt efuses are interchangeable in principle. If I were to downgrade 2.3.0 to 2.0.0, for example, it should work since they both expect there to be two burnt fuses.

Is there a place I can find the files or a guide to downgrade from 5.1.0 to 5.0.2, I have not taken a backup before.
Will I lose my save games if I do downgrade?

Such a guide doesn't exist yet. There's also no reason for you to downgrade.

Home brew doesn't work, and I want to get it setup before I go on holiday.
HB doesn't work on 5.1 at the minute, doesn't it?
I haven't been keeping track, but working homebrew payloads for 5.1.0 either exist privately, or they've already been released by now. Either way, it's not worth downgrading. Homebrew will work soon enough on 5.1.0, assuming it doesn't already.

Yeah I guess I'll keep watching. I go on holiday in two weeks time and I want an emulator or two to play but there's no decent working releases at the minute that work on 5.1.0.
Thanks for the advice regardless.

True words has been spoken. I don't have kids but I am busting my ass off to be able to buy myself whatever I like. For example a 2nd switch.

you probably cant downgrade unless you made a nand backup on the older fw

I've never once needed to buy more than one console nor handheld.

me neither, but still...

I'm pretty sure if you do not have a NAND backup from the version you want to downgrade to then you will not be able to downgrade.
Also you would need to know if NINTENDO burnt more fuses from the 1 firmware to the next because if they did then downgrading will not be possible.

Your best advise is to start keeping nand backups from now on

No said to buy 2 consoles in case lol but you're welcome to your rant buddy

He isn't ranting, he is using logic to give his opinion that is probably shared by 99% of the population, as their are very few people that feel the need to own 2 nintendo switches at the same time. What you are doing is ranting, aswell as being condescending, you might want to think about that before posting.
