Hacking [PS4] Restore saves (5.05) ?

Hi,

After playing some Fake PKG games I decided to reinstall my PS4 to have fresh start. Before doing that I transferred "savedata" "savedata_meta" folders to my PC.
I reinstalled all PKGs and put the save game folders back. Now I want to play those games but the save games are not recognized??? Is there any way to fix this?

Your PS4 user account on the system has the same name on it as before?

Hmm I am not sure if my older username also started with a capital letter. Does that matter?

If the latter, you could try a database rebuild. Turn the PS4 off, then hold down the power button until it beeps a second time. Choose the Rebuild Database option. Depending on how much you have installed, it may take a while.

The game will ignore the save and overwrite it. When I replace the newly created save game with my own and start the game it will show corrupt message.

Database rebuild will remove all my installed fake pkgs.

you need to create a save file (as many as existed before). then, restore the saves, open each save and immediately save again to refresh the save database. I think rebuilding the database will do the same thing. if you're using an original save (not from a fake signed game), it will show up as corrupted with a fake signed game. I've tested this with four games. I think it's due to pfs.

So, run all games and let them create savefiles which i need to replace with my backedup ones?

I only got fake signed save files and games. I deleted all my legit games/data.

Oke, I tried the following with one game and it did not work:

1: Started with newly created user.
2: Started Call of Duty Modern Warfare (remastered)
3: Save folder was created "/user/home/XXXXXXX/savedata/CUSA03522" and "user/home/XXXXXXX/savedata_meta/user/CUSA03522"
4: I tested if save was working by restarting the game
5: Loaded ftp payload
6: Transferred and replaced both "CUSA03522" folders (in savedata and savedata_meta)
7: Started up the game
8: "The save game is corrupted message"
9: Game starts with no save.

Am I doing something wrong?

hmm...are you sure the save wasn't corrupted somehow? I've read of weird glitches with saves on 5.05. did you try deleting the save folder, then transferring instead of just overwriting? the meta folder shouldn't matter as I think it's just things like icons, not actual game save data.

Possible. Before backing up my savegame folders I did rebuild database. After rebuild database I decided to reinstall my PS4 so I backed up before doing that. 3 games and all of them same issue.

reinstall your ps4? you mean reformatting? if so, I think the account that made that save is lost. I believe that a new account will have 0's as its account id while that changes if you sign in to psn and it's added to any save that's made after the fact including old saves. if that's happened, the saves may be lost for good.

Yes, reformatting. I see the save games in game but when I try to load them the game corrupts them. I need to start all over again. Lesson learned.

don't delete those saves from your pc just yet. the save keys have been found, so it's only a matter of time to where we can resign them. saves without an account id can be interchangeable I believe, so it's only after acquiring one that they need to be resigned. that's interchangeable with other 0'd out account ids.

Just play new games, or replay short games. Any of the games you've spent over 40 hours in I'd recommend waiting until we can re-sign saves.

I lost all my legit save games with 300+ hours of gameplay when I tried out the “Debug delete” option on day one of kxploit release. Current save games only have 10+ hours in tot so I am just going to startover.

Trying to play the Fake-Signed Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition and it has "Corrupted" most of my legit disc saves while trying to load them.
