right now devkitpro doesnt support 3d hardware acceleration so it limits things, but hopefully when it gets added we will start to see more advanced ports appearing :)

I see the retroarch cores are starting to be ported. over. Also libtransistor has been updated to support 5.xx.

I was under the impression that there was hardware acceleration.

Is there any reason why no one has ported retroarch as a whole.

With your experience maybe you can shine light on this.

Thank

i think many of us (myself included) are using libnx which doesn't support it currently, but i will take a look at libtransistor and see what that offers

in general - its still early days. RetroArch will come for sure. People need time to get familiar with the hardware/dev environment. This scene is going to blow up

Cleared out the weird folders I had before and made sure mine matched the paths in the txt file. Did you try removing the extra files you had?
Yeah, I removed the two extra files. Now I'm going through and renaming all my files with lowercase names like in the txt file. Hopefully that will work.

Edit: It still didn't work. Everytime I try to start a new game it just kicks me back to the main menu.

Hey! Jon from Running with scissors here and we really appreciate your work on this port. I posted here some time ago hoping someone would handle a Vita port, but this will do just nicely instead. Shoot me a PM With your e-mail @MVG and we'll sort you some swag for your efforts.
Great to see RWS support homebrew

I managed to get this running, and got into a game just fine, but the controls seem completely broken for some reason, and I can't seem to move, or shoot on my own at all... it seems to just do it randomly by itself?

EDIT: The Demo Option uses scripted input, and the Singleplayer Campaign doesn't... I was using the Demo Option

That's odd are you using the analog sticks?

NVM I'm just an idiot, I was running the demo to quickly load into a map, but I guess all demo maps have scripted input, personally I wouldn't know as I never used let alone saw a demo option on the PC version, but once I loaded into a Singleplayer Game I was able to play just fine
