well they can't patch rcm mode, but maybe they have a trick they can pull off. Nobody really knows.I forgot to ask earlier but, is SX a future-proof cfw ? I mean, it always work even with future nintendo firmwares ?

I've bought some from amazon before. I've had good and bad experiences. But either way, you're not finding a 256+ card for under 90 bucks unless it's refurbished but it'll still be significantly more than "50ish". Fatsquirrel is full of shit.
That's like saying I cut my pizza into squares instead of triangles so I guess since I do that I can go steal some pizza.

Those cards were on a special sale and they aren't top of the line either. I also bought a 128GB for like $30~ during that sale, but that isn't their price all of the time.
Assuming you can undo whatever they did of course, and the risk of modifying it in the first place. Plus, it makes your console a lot easier to be detected.
You think that's air your breathing now ?well they can't patch rcm mode, but maybe they have a trick they can pull off. Nobody really knows.
Surprised they aren't just stealing the current homebrew stuff just to say it is homebrew enabled...Maybe the are making their own version of HBL..Doubt it. But who know.Semi tethered.. Not surprising. Hopefully nobody refers to it as a cold boot..
No homebrew... Guess I'm passing just for that notion alone. Seriously.. Won't refute the fact I pirate, but I have too many bought games here..
The license thing still makes little sense. So they're activating it from the console?
It's still portable and doesn't require fussing around with another device (actual "tethering" (look up the word) and launching programs).
It DOES need "fussing around witch another device".
It needs the dongle on every boot. Only the jig is won't be required.
Before trying to educate someone else, you should read by yourself.
I know what tethering means!
I'm using my mobilephone to inject payloads. That's portable too.
But still TETHERED.
Tethering, by definition involves a rope or a cable in the middle of two devices. Sure, you can use a cellphone and that is pretty portable, but that requires the JIG and messing around with apps to get the Switch booted correctly. I rather just plug something in and go. Much more easier and convenient. I don't understand why people are complaining about the use of a Dongle when the use of another device is much more involved and takes more time. Either way you have to have a device plugged into your Switch.
Tethering means a physical connection between device. Is doesn't matter if plugged directly or by cable.
Even while using a smartphone, the jig wont be needed. AutoRCM is available through XS OS.

Hey!
- Q: Can we play eshop games?
A: The current version of SX OS only allows to play cartridge based games. But we're working hard to bring game titles that originate from different distribution media to SX OS as well! It is on our list of features to add in upcoming updates.
so greedy for a cold boot? i'm happy with this alone omgNo surprise ...
There's no untethered coldboot to CFW
I wonder when "soon" for the XS OS website will be...
How?About DLCs / Updates etc.
Technically, we can just patch them into the XCI Files
