Hi guys! After two days of messing up things i finally found a way to proper stream pc (and emulated) games to switch.

The result



What you'll need
A nintendo switch console with arch linux (thanks to natinusala for the awesome guide i will follow your guide bones https://gbatemp.net/threads/quick-tuto-how-to-boot-linux-on-your-switch.501918/)
A Gaming PC
A fast wifi connection

What works

Near 0 latency streaming
No FPS drops under 30
No crashes
Nice image quality

What doesn't work/cons

No Sound (Pump up your speakers Volume)
Joycon Input (Connect them to PC thanks to NoThisIsStupider) https://gbatemp.net/threads/connecting-joycons-to-pc-tutorial-with-analog-support.471017/)
Short range because of Joycon connection to PC
Screen tearing can happen sometimes

Let's Begin (PC HOST)

Download and install Nomachine software https://www.nomachine.com/
reboot your pc then open Nomachine service and set it like screenshots

Now connect to your switch through SSH Protocol and launch the following commands (you can type those on switch terminal too):

su (enter password)
wget http://download.nomachine.com/download/6.1/Arm/nomachine_6.1.6_4_aarch64.tar.gz
mv nomachine_6.1.6_4_aarch64.tar.gz /usr
cd /usr
tar xvf nomachine_6.1.6_4_aarch64.tar.gz
cd NX
./nxserver --install slackware

when the installer is done launch the program from your app menu and type your host pc ip address to connect.
Now the most important part required to get minimal latency: Tap the right top edge of the switch screen and click on Display --> Change Settings and set it like this photo https://imgur.com/a/0g79JMV

I had no trouble with Xoutput, try to install vcredist_x86.exe and the latest .net framework

Ok, xoutput started but IT wont change anything. Only analog are working and they reversed.

maybe try the steam controller configurator from big picture instead of xoutput or read/ask on this thread for better support

I can't get it to work for me I can connect from PC to Switch, and use Switch from computer, but not the other way. When I try to coonect from Switch to PC it returns an error 110, "connection timed out".

Any idea?

IMO and searching this error on google it seems like a firewall problem, maybe is it active on your router? you may try to change the connection port of nomachine service as a workaround, if you can connect to ssh your 22 port is open for sure

I'll try that

Edit: no luck changing the port :S I think it may be another thing

After disabling successfully the firewall I didn't get anymore error 110, but instead, now I get error 111: connection refused.

I've tried looking for a workaround on Internet but no luck for me

Hey, I apologize if it's a dumb question and I've read through the thread to make sure it hasn't been asked but would flashing an image onto the SD erase anything else? What changes does it make to the SD and can I still boot hekate after booting Linux after having flashed the card with the image?

Hi yes flashing an image will erase everything. if you want to boot linux and hekate i suggest you to make 2 partitions on sd card so you can run both.
the 1st partition will be a FAT32 to boot hekate and horizon and the 2nd one ext4 and linux

I compiled moonlight for switch linux but is not worth it, the performance are not the best. We have to wait for an homebrew port of moonlight
