Why don't most people get that competition is a healthy thing. The reason technology has gone way forward in the world is due to competition. Look at the space program and so forth. Same with hacks etc...

You are assuming TX hasn't found a way around cart emulation, just because RS hasn't found a way doesn't mean no one else has. TX has been around for many many years and I tend to believe the video which shows cart emulation. It serves them no purpose to fake it as they have to run a long term business and have been doing so for years.
What do you think is more likely?

a) A team of a few silently blowing open an ASIC that hundreds have failed to get into, a pretty noteworthy feat if they did, only to not mention it in their initial video about it and only hinting at it (effectively making their product they want to sell advertise less efficiently)

or

b) A team of a few hinting - with the aid of an easily coded visual trick - at having done something that nobody else has done and not explicitly stating that they did so a product they are trying to hype gets more sales while not being responsible for the false impression they give

I don't know which version is true. I do know which version I find more likely, though.

If it's an opensource project where they get no money involved and they need to stress to get something out? It's NOT healthy at all. It will put stress on them, late nights etc. It's only healthy between businesses most of the time, but this is a business vs. homecoders. It's a whole nother ballpark.

Competition is Always healthy. It pushes you forward and in the end it is good for the consumer. No competition isn't healthy but competition is even if it's free or not. So in your eyes wanting to become the best at something and better as someone else isn't healthy like with sports, challenges and so forth ? Because you don't earn any money with that, it is just bragging rights. Competition is Always good, it pushes you to be better

Again, between business yes. It's really good, except it can put a lot of pressure on people and sickness skyrocket (as seen in higher mental issues etc.) It can however strive innovation etc. But this is a differnet ballpark. It's an hobbiest project vs. a commercial project. I sure as hell don't want any of the Reswtiched people to burn themselves out to be "first" to block TX sales.

Once Atmosphere is out and working. Yes then I can see a more healthy mentality. But as of now, no.

And how are sports, challenges, being the best at class or something you invested in then different because they don't earn money with it but still strife to be the best thanks to competition wich makes them grow in the end ? Those people have stress 2 but still become better because of competition

Don't worry. Nobody on the AMS team has changed their schedule because of this. AMS is gonna come when it was always gonna come, everyone is chill.

Not everyone invests being the best, first, greatest. Sports and challenges in the word itself, are a competition. You're yet again not understanding my point of view. Do you wanna see people work 24/7 just so you can get a custom firmware you don't wanna pay for?

Did i say i want people to work 24/7. I'm just saying competition is a good thing wich i still stand by

Then you failed to see my point of view or to stubborn to try to see other people, I guess this discussion is over.

Rewswitched: Hates piracy but doesn't mind sharing their work.

Team X: Loves piracy but hates people sharing their work.

Honestly both show signs of capitalism lol.

Hates piracy doesn't make you a capitalist. In fact pirates might be the first capitalist. Have you seen The Wolf of Wall Street? Might as well called them Pirates of Wall Street.

Exactly, if you do not know which version is true it would be best to reserve your judgement and not simply say things like:

TX is deliberately fooling viewers into thinking they can do something with the dongle that they can't. All to make some money off of those poor viewers.

So all those athletes dying from drug abuse are healthy? It is more and more noticeable that the gold medal winners "suffer" from ADHS. Or what about programmers in silicone valley abusing ritalin or adderall to be better as the one next to them that also abuses such drugs.

Without competition, there will be monopoly.

1) No, you will ALWAYS BE AT RISK!
2) With TX devices yes, with Atmopshere it's possible but someone must make an installer or loader of some sort. I don't think SciresM will implement it.

Learn that you will always be at risk of ban from Nintendo. They geared up during the 3DS and it would surprise me if they won't be hammer down instantly on the Swich since paid online is now a thing.

I think most of the people here speculate that its possible without being banned, there are always some that don't need online but i guess many want online and whatever features nintendo brings us with it.

You have bad apples in everything so that doesn't have anything to do with what i said. You can literally say that with everything so that makes everything in the end bad no ? I see what you tried to do there
