No console in history has ever "died" due to piracy, the level of know-how required and the hassle involved deters the majority of customers. In fact, piracy is in single-digit territory in terms of the customer base, and this includes consoles that could be modded with nothing more than an SD card like the Wii.

As for the chip device, good. People come for the piracy and stay for the homebrew at an astonishing rate, I personally only learned C because I bought a flashcart for my DS and everything was plug and play - if not for Team Acekard I wouldn't learn how to code until my university days. Knowing C gave me a huge advantage over other students, I even nailed the professor to the wall once when he suggested using a stupid loop.

Not that simple, it would still need the internal logic to actually run the payload, but yes it prob just stores the payload on flash, so stick in a PC and copy the files = profit, I guess they will have some mitigations to stop this, but it will be dumped.

I was thinking as long as you can boot into RMC mode that it would not be hard to some day boot from a usb type C and not use a computer or android phone at all. From the looks of it they have done just that.
Why i was typing this i re watched the video and on the usb type c drive looks to be a switch on the right side that when pluged into the switch looks to be in switched down and when they take it off looks to be switched up but its kinda hard to tell as the video seems like its hard to see if its a switch or just the case of the usb type C is cracked.

not on topic to what they're doing, especially since it's A. pointless and B. not part of ReSwitched's work and will probably have a very negative effect on the scene (remember 3ds post-gateway?)

I got banned by the admin/owner of the 3ds hacking discoard for saying free shop he told me to not post that name because it used Nintendo code and i told him no it does not then he banned me for trying to get the last word in.
So banning for talking about it does not surprise me.

Team Xecuter won't vanish over night, they been around since the OG Xbox. I personally won't buy their hack, but they aren't some random company.
