Hacking Can 4.55+ games be dumped at this point?

I was under the impression that games that require over 4.55 OFW could be dumped using the firmware spoofer. Is this correct?

Obviously the backups could not be played, but I just went through and dumped all of my <=4.55 games and am hoping to just finish this long and annoying process in one shot.

If this can be done, is there a guide to using the spoofer? I followed KiiWii's guide and used their files and everything seems to work just fine *except* for the spoofer.

There are some games being dumped on higher fw with higher kexploit, but SPOOFER ONLY PREVENTS UPDATES.

FYI: use latest HEN VR in my self host zip 4.5 to spoof to 6.05. (Not perma)

Edit: to clarify private kexploit >4.55 was used to dump NFS Payback, its not public, and only game so far (as of today)

I dont think we will be waiting much longer for more higher games to be shared for 4.55 users, but kexploit may take longer.

Im crossing fingers for GOW and sonic mania (lol) dumped for 4.55.....

When its done I will update my guide

NFS Payback is 4.7x and works on 4.55.

Depends on dependancies of the FW/SDK used I guess.

Yeah that's me! lol. Hmm I didn't know that about NFS Payback. Hopefully it will work with newer releases too then.

I don't believe it's a scene release at all, but it is out there, and it does work.

Well, we should define what "scene" means. Allegedly it didn't come from a scene release group (Duplex, Skidrow, Protocol, Blaze, etc) instead looks like it's the same Russian group/single that dumped Horizon Zero Dawn when the latest public jailbreak known was for FW 4.05.

Yeah apparently no amount of memes, editing or spoofing will allow it to run on lower than 5.xx.
