you guys saved my ass thanks alot

You'll have to install python 2, pip for python 2 and the pyparted module. Create a /.rootfs-repartition file and run the script. If it doesn't work, install the script and systemd service and reboot.

First time to the forum and excited to see what the future holds for this device. But anyway i have been booting linux multiple times with different results with 3 different sd cards 16,32 and 64gb.

  • 16gb would let me boot into the linux gui as such but then just freeze and do nothing.
  • 32gb would load the penguin splash screen and then just go black.
  • 64gb had the same result as the 32gb.
Im not entirely sure what i am doing wrong but could it be that the sd cards are not imaging properly or am i doing something wrong. I am preparing the sd card using etcher on windows 7.

I am using sandisk too on all 3 cards. Is there anyway that a sd card reader can cause a bad write etc or anything like that.

well what i did notice is if i dont use etcher it simply wont work for me you could try it and see what happens

The profile is reset to normal at each reboot.
