That's because I'm good at writing. Take a look at my signature; I'm not some spam bot.
I wouldn't pat you on the back if your original posts reminds someone of a spambot. I know you're real, I saw the replies. I still however suggest you would clean up the first post so it looks not so much as a spambot.

I'm not going to rewrite my post in some lame engrish crap that looks like it came from a High School drop out if that is what you mean.

That diet is dangerous to your health and most experts here in the United Kingdom warn against using it. Here is just one web site that details side effects feom using the diet. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....loss/amp19996091/ketogenic-diet-side-effects/
Like pretty much all diets, they're freaking deranged.

There is however one that seem to always work, eat whatever you want, do whatever you want as long as you got more calories out than you get in. You will loose weight. Math is pretty simple there ;)

Hey, thanks for sharing that! It seems if you cut the calorie intake along with carbs it could have negative effects; luckily this diet has plenty of calories. Actually, more then the 2,000 some limit most people say to go by. I have diabetes which is another reason I am trying this and I check my sugar 4 times a day, have emergency supplements to take if I get too low so I should be alright. I have already had to decrease my insulin dose and it's only been 3 days! That is a good thing! I'm not too worried about the other side effects as I can handle a little gas, bad breath and the initial phase when your body changes. So far so good!

This is a really strong diet. Especially if you're in school. Without carbs and sugars you don't get any crashes (falling asleep during lectures). It makes you very alert and pumps you full of testosterone (increases athletic performance and makes you more violent in general).

Happy punch-a-feminist day btw!

I like the diet, alot of people have tried it, and enjoy it, JUST KNOW it's not for everyone, My mom has tried it a couple of times, and she feels like crap, so it's not for everyone, but it really can't hurt to try, My Brother(s) is doing it, and they feel amazing, and losing the fat they have, and are super energetic.

Some of my family follows this diet, along with the Atkins diet. I'm not sure how either diet works specifically, but not overindulging on carbs can't be anything but good, I would assume.

I alternate between water fasting and Keto, lost 75 pounds in about 5 months. I took a break during the holidays but I'm getting back on track now.

Water fasts are a great way to jumpstart your body into Ketosis. I give myself a nice cheat day beforehand, eat whatever I want, as much as I want, and then some. I pretty much let myself overindulge. It's nice, because there are some foods that I genuinely miss while on Keto (milk, orange juice, potato salad, deserts, sugary juices and sodas, etc.) Then afterwards, I go on a 5+ day water fast, and usually by the 3rd day I'm back in Ketosis. My longest water fast so far has been 12 days, one day I'm going to try for 14 days.

I've gone from a whopping 400 pounds to 325, still losing. I try to give myself one good cheat day and water fast per month. I try to schedule my cheat days on family events so that I'm not fasting or on a Keto diet and missing out on food (because god forbid if I show up at my mother-in-law's house and don't eat her food, she'll take it like an insult...)

Anybody ever watch this guy? He was kinda inspiration for me to try this (at least the water fasting part), despite how many times he says not to in his video lol :P

Finally, a small but necessary legal disclaimer, don't try anything in this post without the advice of a doctor. I am not a doctor, and I am not responsible if you screw up something. Water fasting and Keto can both be dangerous and/or lethal in certain cases.

Unnatural substances?

Everything is a chemical, give or take whatever you want to count sitting in the sun for some vitamin D as.

Natural or man made matters little from where it in sit in face of what any given one does. Or if you prefer prior to the return of vaporisers the other year, wherein I now can get readily able to be concentrated vials of nicotine on the high street*, most of the best poisons I knew of were obtained from natural sources. Similarly you might also find your "natural" flavourings and colouring agents have a few more nasties than the equivalent chemical made by industrial chemistry.
Anybody that advocates for such things is either a filthy hippy, trying for a shortcut or has no clue of what they speak.

*nicotine is a fairly potent poison, extracting it from cigarettes/tobacco products is annoying so one would instead have to go to the garden centre and look at their insecticides and other pest killers and still do a fairly annoying extraction, purification and concentration.

Back on topic the idea of ketosis seems to crop up every few years. A few years back the concept was massively popular in the "Atkins" diet and I think I saw one in between. I don't find it a particularly healthy or effective way of keeping weight off, it will get the weight down more readily than some alternatives though. In the end proper diet and exercise is it for most people -- you are fighting thousands/millions of years of evolution wherein starvation was a very real problem so it going to suck, no massively effective shortcuts there.

All diets are simply a matter of calories in, calories out. Human bodies are no exception to the 1st law of thermodynamics that governs energy transfer for all objects througout the Universe. If you eat more calories than you burn on the keto diet, you will still gain weight, as is the case with any food you eat. If you burn more calories than you consume, while eating keto foods, you will lose weight. The diet and/or food choices makes no difference. It's all about calories in, calories out. The sooner people grasp this simple concept, the sooner they can gain and lose weight as they wish, without giving their money to those that write diet books that tell you otherwise.

The keto diet is really effective if you have a hard time counting calories.

Everyone I have known who stuck to it got down to a healthy weight.

Best of luck, and know that you're saving your life. Fat kills, and it kills hard.

You really shouldn't do this if you're diabetic. Hell, noone should follow this diet period!
It's actually very good for those with diabetes because it is low in sugar.

Are you talking about type II? It's especially good for those with type II as that disease is caused by hyperglycemia due to receptor overload.

There's a lot of evidence that a diet low in carbs is very good for people. I don't know why you wouldn't recommend it. From a medical perspective it can really be the silver bullet in weight loss.

You know humans didn't always have bread and noodles right? That's pretty much all you have to get rid of (plus rice etc) for this diet to work.

No one should follow diets, full stop. They should just exercise more and eat healthier, that's all it takes. It's no special mumbojumbo. The more energy you get in, the more energy you get to lose if you wanna lose the weight. If you wanna stay the same follow the same you do.

- everything is chemicals. Whether it's created with intention or by nature, it's just a combination of elements.
- losing weight can be unhealthy if done in a way that damages your body...which this diet apparently does
- generally anything more than 3-5 pounds of weight-loss a week is dangerous and potentially damaging to your health
- Be healthy in your diet (meaning:what you eat) and eventually you will get to a healthy weight

A proper diet is one where you eat food, not too much, mostly veggies. crash diets crash your system and can cause permanent damage internally, even if you look quite slim on the outside.

The keto diet essentially forces you to eat more healthy food. Often the really calorie dense foods are carbs like bread, noodles etc.

Look if you eat a bunch of meat, fruit and fats you are eating a healthy diet.

So essentially this is just an easy way to have a healthy diet. And exercise is good for you, but dieting is by far the best way to lose weight. It's very hard to lose weight with exercise because the human body is very efficient, and doesn't burn many calories from a lot of exercises.

Why do you think this diet damages the body? Look there's a lot of science to back keto up. It is not a crash diet.
