I know, you need to do more but I mean what pin we need to short, because I know for RCM after short the pin you have to press the volume up I think and then connect the switch to a pc via USB and a few things more, for The pegaswitch I don't know but I just ask for the pins haha

You have to ground PIN 10 on the right JoyCon rail and press VOL+ during boot to enter Tegra RCM mode.

seemingly works, took a old sata power cable, striped of the end of a shortened cable. lenght is so long that it fits in the rail without falling. windows detected the switch as a apx device , screen is black. hope fully this works.

Why don't people's just solder the two pins together, its easy you cant go wrong I did it last night worked a treat! :)

Edit: also its easy to remove the solder again, if needed just pin join your iron onto your solder again and let it lift back up on the tip or you can use a solder sucker pen..

After waiting 4 weeks my ESP8266 came in the post yesterday for my PS4 (so much to do / read yesterday!)

It came with the pcb header pins which I won't be using gonna see when I can come up with later

The end jammed down the rail is slightly bent up so it presses against the pins. The sloppy end seen sticking out is there so its easier to remove.

It works reliably, I've gotten RCM 5 out of 6 times now.

Thanks to my friend for holding the thing while I took a picture.

Considering that spare JoyCon rail currently cost 1/3 of whole new JoyCon on eBay it's not very reasonable. Also, you're not damaging you're JoyCon by modding unless you know what you're doing. You can always add some sort of microswitch to console in elegant way to trigger RCM.
most people here dont know what they're doing
