plz i need help , i have PS3 with CFW HABIB 4.81 STARBUCKS COBRA 7.40 V1.01 ....
now i get call of duty black ops 3 ps3 an update is required ...
what should i do ??
if i make my device connect with the internet will i lose my jailbreak ?

No you wont. Also if you are going to play online with that game you will need anti-ban eboots. There should be 4.82 CFW already update to that.

If you connect to psn you won't loose your jail break but you will get banned from being able to play online multiplayer.
I think you're safe with game updates and won't get banned.

thx alot but i have not much experience with PS3 jailbreak ... but u mean that i can update my PS3 with 4.82 and it's came with the jailbreak inside the software ?!

You don't update it with official updates. Only update with Custom Firmware. There is also a method to try to play online without getting banned but there is still some small risk. Game updates start automatically when you start them. Or you can update them manually by pressing triangle on a game and click check updates. Make sure that your system doesn't connect to psn automatically on boot if you don't want a ban.

i have one more thing .... my cos have PS3 on v 4.82 but he have no JB and he already was go online on his device , can i make JB to his device even if he go online ?

Here's one I recommend. This one isn't complicated and easier to use for newer people.

But regular single player and local multiplayer should work fine.

Is "cos" "cousin"? Yes you can still Jailbreak his console even if he's been online before. You'll only get banned after you install CFW and connect to PSN. So your good to go. Even if they ban you, you can still jail break your PS3. Me for example, I connected online after I installed CFW and got banned but my Jailbreak still works fine for me. You'll have to take protective measures after you hack if you want to play online multiplayer and avoid getting banned.

yes he's my cousin .... pleas don't leave me alone and i Appreciation your replays , i already try with that link but it's showing to me the data is corrupted (8002f957) and i read something about PS3Xploit but i couldn't install it !
