Hacking Old2DS on FW 2.1

Hey up Everybody.

A Guy just called me that he tried to install Luma on his 2DS.

Anyway he must have used a way out of time Tut as he now ended up with FW 2.1 on it and doesn´t seem to have a backup. The Device will arrive here today.

So what is the actualst way to proper fix this?
I have everything that would be neccesasary so NTR Card, HardMod and the Skills needed for this.

As there are hundreds of Threads and a lot of Progress in the Scene i´m looking for the most recent Solution for this Problem.

Yep, that should work, otherwise you can use the old method to bypass setup that uses Cubic Ninja or OoT

You may have to do a ctrtransfer if it's soft-bricked, either with godmode9 or decrypt9.

I know there are separate firmwares for New and Old3ds, I just forget if this is the case for 3ds and 2ds. I know NTRboot was developed from trying to fix 2ds bricks in the first place.

The 2DS stuff is contained within the old 3DS files, as long as the firmware is high enough (over 6.0).

Hey up Guys.

So everything went fine.

Used NTR Card to install B9S then GodMode9 to do the CTRTransfer.
Everything works as aspected.
