To be honest, i like to request a hombrew like notifyMii, a notification editor, because notifymii is usless since update 11.0, probably something about how the notification works change.

I don't want to offend you, but your request is too much, the 3ds don't have the hardware to acomplish that, even the New 3DS still have many trouble to play psx one roms with pscx rearmed, in fact N64 or Sega Saturn emulation are out of the question because it will be very dificult, so PS2 and GC are too much.

sorry, i just didn't resist asking that question because many new people who don't understand the 3DS ask the same question here.

but if you want to take my request, can you create an app like godmod9 but like an actual app you can install it?
and have some function of godmod9 like backup friend seed and restore it.
also inject other homebrew app to another app, for example inject freeshop into home and safety, etc.
there is already method to do that but doing that from the home menu will make it more easy.

Emulation goes really beyond simply comparing powers between consoles. It's more like adapting a console's work to fit into something else. It takes much more resources. That's why we don't see anything like N64 or PS1 on the 3DS (and won't see. The capabilities of both old and new 3DS are way too low to make any good emulation, unless there's a gigantic amount of people working to optimize it and finding ways to make it run in a minimally acceptable framerate)

That kind of app would require modifications to the NAND, which is impossible after the system fully loads, at least not without a serious risk of a brick, reason why GM9 works just before anything is loaded.

But either way - entering inside the topic, is it possible for someone to make an overclocking homebrew? After all, is it possible to push the 3DS beyond it's base clock? I know there are ways to put the New 3DS into it's 804 MHz on applications that usually don't use/need it, but would it be possible to push it to 1GHz or so? And if not, why? I never really understood the entire 3DS hardware and how it is built, so if someone could explain it to me, i'd be thankful.

what about backup the friend seed and other stuff, not inject.
also decrypt9 can inject other app to H&S from the homebrew channel.

I'd really like to see a 3DS homebrew client app for accessing the Mastodon social media network, much like the many mobile clients. Because Mastodon is open source, I believe such a thing might be easier than some other similar projects like the Discord apps. Perhaps it might only require another client to be ported rather than making one specifically for 3DS? But the reason I ask is because the default 3DS browser can't load mastodon.social or any of the other Mastodon instances like Pawoo.net, Witches.town, anticapitalist.party, etc. past the log in screen.

I apologize if I'm underestimating how difficult this would be.
