Hmm, don't know if I can exchange it through the online store I bought it from. And I doubt I can exchange it at another store with the plastic seal removed. Hopefully with the release of HBL and/or emunand I can play this game. Hoping here I don´t have to wait much.

Exchange with somebody who has Zelda, not with the store. Or sell and buy old used.

There you go. Thinking that it could have to update the game to version 4.x (or >3.0.1) really makes me want to hold off updating, even if I really wanna play the game.

EDIT: As reference I bought this game and the console (PAL version) through an online store in U.A.E. (souq).

Thank you for the info, but I'm not going to buy a second cartridge of BotW to be shipped from USA to UAE. In the worst case scenario I might buy another game that does work with <= 3.0.0 FW

I dont know why but they dont have the firmware versions out all the time, so i only added one for Batman this time.
They also dont always have the lowest revisions, so they probably just dump the data off of the carts they get their hands on.

Should a "BAAYA12B000" version of Pokken Tournament DX work (contain version 3.0.0)? I guess since it´s the 000 version? But what is the difference from "BAAYA09B000" (09B instead of 12B)? This is a Europe/Sweden release..

Edit: Ok I see that it´s maybe not that easy to read all those numbers.. But I suppose the 000 would be enough? All those other letters and numbers seems to be country and production date/year and so on?

I have BAAYA12B000 too. I haven't read about any Pokken Tournament with serial ending with 000 that updated Switch to other than 3.0.0 firmware.

No, sorry. I'm still in doubt, I don't see anything for now that would make me to update to 3.0.0. And there is infamous battery bug.

Its hard to tell how the info they provide is collected... maybe they can read the cartridge and check wich key can decrypt its header or something along those lines...
Also its sad they dont release the game version along with it.
