If you are planning on using seedminer, do you have a dedicated graphics card in your PC?

let me quickly check the output of the DIS. But make sure you used the correct region and uploaded the correct files.

Region europe
Files:
4B4C4A56.bin (from lets create pottery)
movable.sed

the size of movable.sed i obtain is always 1kb, while movable_part1.sed is 4kb

Figured out the rest successfully :)

One hint for the readme file in future: when it tells you to continue at step VI of the guide.. at one step it'll tell you to put the boot.3dsx file on the sdcard.. I missed that step, possible because you only get that file if you go to the top of that page of the guide and download the homebrew launcher, which links to the corresponding file. When looking for the arm11 error that came up without the file, I found someone else had that exact same issue, so it might be something to include more clearly in the readme :) Other than that it all worked well and if I hadn't screwed up with the id0, the whole thing would've been a matter of 1-2 hours (well, thanks to my fast gpu ^^), which is pretty awesome!
i'm trying to do this step:

run "python2 seedminer_launcher.py gpu" and the brute force should start

but cmd told me:

"python2" is not recognized as an internal or external command, program or batch file executable.
I've fixed both of these issues in the readme.

Aight, your problem simply is that the username you entered (a) is too short. Enter something longer, like dragonscared.

hmmm, maybe we can get a way to upload out msed into the database directly? Don't know if that's feasible, but would be cool :)

just use the homebrew discord, https://discord.gg/C29hYvh

Aight, guide is written up, just missing the Mii instructions as i haven't done that myself and i dont really think it should be needed as long as people are willing to help. Please do give me feedback (and maybe link to it if you see someone needing it ;) https://marenthyu.de/3ds/

please type "python --version" on your command prompt and tell me what you get.

I belive DSI web works fine, i have seen that after upload *.bin and movable.sed i obtain this message

"INFORMATION: The last failed builds I have seen haved failed because of a wrong movable.sed. Please make sure the movable.sed is correct. Sometimes you will need to dump the movable_part1.sed again and rerun seedminer. To check if this is the reason why your build has failed please look at the console output and search if there is the following error: "ValueError: Error 65537 while instatiating the CBC mode". "

i supose (my english is awful) the operation failed, but now looking for at "console output" after another try (once again i belive operation has failed) i see the operation was succesfully and i can download *bin.patched

I talked a bit on the homebrew discord about this guide, and i do agree that it may be a bit too long winded.
I think that it does work, however and people _can_ use it if they struggle with anything.
Maybe I'll write something up to include in 3ds.guide by forking it and doing a PR. It can't hurt.
Until then, feel free to tell me of any typos/mistakes/feedback for it.

one question, i have a N3ds, but i transfer from a O3ds, in this step should i use O3ds firm?

The 11.4.0 / 11.5.0 / 11.6.0 (these versions all have the same FIRM version) .firm corresponding to the target 3DS (either “OLD” for Old 3DS, or “NEW” for New 3DS):
i suppose that, because i try obtain movable.sed from mii, and one of the steps ask u about old o new 3ds, first i choose new, and didn't work, after i choose old and work perfectly
