So I'm going to post this in here an in hopes someone will come around to read it and help/assist me.

I have this application called 'Villain3DS' and when I launch the application and browse through the game list.
But before I decided to get Villian3DS, I would have problems with Freeshop about 'Failed finalized TMD to CDN' or whatever the case.
I also tried CIAngel bit it did not work aswell on my FBI because there was no option to 'Install' the CIA.

And that is why I just gave up on both of them and tried Villain3DS as the last resort.

So when I attempt to download them via QR code through FBI and I get the following message. "Failed to install TMD from CDN. Result code: 0xD9004586 Level: Permanent (27) Summary: Wrong Argument (8) Module: FS (17) Desc: <unknown> (390).

If someone could help me on this, that would be super amazing.

Please and thank you.

What version of FBI are you using?

Hang on. Try using a different SD card. Move everything from your current SD card to another one, then try installing again. The last person who had your error had a bad SD card:

I only have my 64GB SD card, I have another but It was used for my flashcart.
I guess I need to buy another? I got mine from Ebay.

Well there's your problem. Don't by from ebay, go out and buy a real card from a real store. It's probably a bad card.

I think the one you got might have been faulty, but unless you have another SD card, I cannot test that theory. Can you borrow an 8GB card from a friend or something?

Unfortunately I have no friends IRL I can just burrow a SD card from.
Is there any way around to avoid buying another? And if I have to, where do I purchase legit SD cards from if you know a website.

I don't usually go out to real stores unless it's an emergency.
I can buy one though it just won't be today of course.

Okay so I bought the first listing through the link you sent me.
It should take about 4 days or less to get here.
So all I have to do is, just copy and paste the files/data as backup that I have on my current SD?
Yes. You should be able to install using FBI and FreeShop as well once you do. If you have any more issues, please let us know here.

I'm here. Please don't bump the topic. It might fall over. :P

Okay so do I need to move over certain files/folders?
Or can I just move over everything?

Everything. I would COPY them instead of moving them. If, for some reason, your savedata and games aren't recognized, or your console doesn't boot, you'll need to move everything in one folder to another one. It says here that the original SD's hardware info is encoded into the SD:\Nintendo 3DS\<ID0>\<ID1>\ path.

I had to research some info before I could answer you. Sorry I took so long.

I'm just having a horrid day and trying to at least have a smile by hopefully getting this situation resolved.
So I copied everything to a folder via my desktop. Do I have to fully go through the 3DS guide again or put those files on my new SD?
