so it would be good if someone could make a guide how to setup all local and use pegaswitch for local dns

on wii u it was better too to run it local with short response times

Any guess about 2002-2007 error after pressing "install" ? If receiving that I can retry only deleting the connection and making it up again but no way to obtain 2000-1337 (leete ;) )....
I add that now, even after resetting the console, when I press "install" it gives no errors but remains at PegaSwitch logo. i f i press home button it gives error 2011-0301. No way to obtain again the above error or the "correct" error... any hint guys ?

please help...
i put my sdcard in to my 3.0.0 Switch and the system say you have tu update your Switch to use sd card ????

Dont update.

This is caused by a difference between SDHC and SDXC SD cards. The switch only supports SDHC on its base firmware, and offers you to download SDXC support separately. Apparently although not in the first few months, the Switch will now force an entire system update, if you hit OK on that prompt. So dont do that.

Use a SDHC card instead (max 32GB of storage) - or try to find a formating tool that allows you to format >32GB SD Cards in fat32. That might work. Or not. :)

Hi, here is maybe the first homebrew for the launcher !! :) My Final Burn Alpha port running on the switch. Put pfba.nro in "/switch/pfba" and roms in "/switch/pfba/roms/". No audio, input a little crappy in the menu but SF3 3rd Strike does run fullspeed for example :)

Nice job , question about audio:
Does the current hbl support audio? Or is it just because it is not implemented in your code yet?

Does the homebrew channel and apps work with an exFAT formatted card or does the SD need to be reformatted as FAT32?

im in the same position as you just hangs on the pegaswitch screen till i press something or after 30 mins or so it errors out with 2011-0301

SF3 3rd Strike working. :) edit: fixed nocrop. :)

Solution for the album loading, although "Run" went through, is to run "Run" again, without reboot.
Also in FBA hit + and - and set the selection menu from "all roms" to "only working roms" otherwise you will scroll yourself to sleep... ;)

For anyone asking about RetroArch on the Switch:

At the moment, all of the RetroArch cores that have been compiled to work with the Switch use libtransistor to run.
The newly released HBL uses libnx-compiled apps ONLY (at the moment).

What does this mean?
Well, to get RetroArch running on the Switch HBL, we would need to have all of the already compiled libtransistor RetroArch cores ported/compiled with the libnx library.

If anyone skilled enough in coding wants to tackle this:

FCEUMM has a Switch target, this could be used as a base example to begin porting from LibTransistor to LibNX:
https://github.com/libretro/libretro-fceumm/blob/master/Makefile.libretro#L265

LibNX source code:
https://github.com/switchbrew/libnx

The best option here would be to have RetroArch to build its cores using both libtransistor and libnx for further compatibility down the road.

LibNX has a huge thing on its favour right now, and that is JIT.
With JIT, some of the slow cores that use more heavy resources than 2D consoles could see a major improvement in speed and performance.

So, I encourage people skilled enough in C/C++ to try to port libtransistor RetroArch cores to libnx.
Only that is stopping us from playing RetroArch on the HBL right now :)
