I havent played my switch since super mario came out. How do I block updates on the switch?

Either fiddler proxy or using one of the update blocking dns. I personally use fiddler as I use it for update blocking along with 3ds telemetry blocking, network test redirection and recently analyzing 3ds traffic with ssl disabled for fun.
For fiddler you have to have your computer on, but it also guarantees your server stays up unlike dns servers which could go down.

no, as long as auto software updates is off in the settings, it downloads the updates but doesnt force you to install them.

I havent turned it on to even check what the setting is on. May just have to turn off the internet and check lol.

Goto Settings and fill your servers to block.
Nintendo Switch OR your Router:
Fill you primary and secondary DNS with:

IMPORTANT!
When you IP change, the OpenDNS dont work more.

Does this block system and game updates? Im trying to find a way to block all traffic except for game update servers. ideas?
