i've never seen the wii u guide before, do you give us permission to edit the guide? do we pm you edits to the guide? how does this work?
No, he makes the guides.i've never seen the wii u guide before, do you give us permission to edit the guide? do we pm you edits to the guide? how does this work?
so how is this a "community guide then? No, he makes the guides.
He is part of it?so how is this a "community guide then?
Ignore them, those guys don't know about your excelent contributions on the Wii U side, and not only that, you are pretty responsive including on those "ridiciulus" n00b threads instead of laughting at (like on certain Nintendo's old handheld side of the forum, and its scene in general).Okay, I get it you guys are hilarious. The joke is over. No need to keep "reserving" posts. I just wanted to create a space for real contributers to build an awesome guide before 50 other guides all pop up. Instead of having multiple guides it's better to have one single community guide that gets updated frequently by multiple users. Just like the Wii U guide.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's an empty thread with no info. He's reserving a "title" despite the fact that thread names on gbatemp can't be reserved and don't have to be unique. It's the equivalant of posting "First".
Yeah maybe a bit premature on my part. I was sitting home with the flu and thought I'd start working on the guide but there's nothing really noobish to post yet.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nobody is trying to create hype and I'm not desperate for homebrew. If you actually read through the OP you would see that this was an attempt to provide a catch all for the inevitable slew of "noob" guides that will pop up and confuse every body. The same thing happened in the Wii U scene and we had a plethora of guides written and several of them misled users that even caused bricks. This was an attempt to stave off that same thing from happening again. Maybe you'd actually like to contribute something to the guide instead of just calling people click bate whores. I don't really care about likes, or people following me. If you'd like to be a positive force in the Switch scene then let me know and I can make you a contributor.people making noob sticky posts for something that hasnt even been released yet.
stop creating hype, we all see how desperate you are to get a hacked switch and play pirated roms and homebrew.
but please only create these threads when it actually has something to post, the switch and its fans are making gbatemp a click bait wh0re.
but i see no sense in creating a n00b guide when there is nothing to guide.Nobody is trying to create hype and I'm not desperate for homebrew. Also, you can look at my other work if you think I'm just a clickbait whore. I actually purposefully bricked my own Wii U so that I could construct an unbrick guide. I've spent countless hours updating and helping people because I get paid for it. Oh wait, no I don't get paid. I do this just because I like to. Why not try and provide positive feedback instead of a flimsy insult?
Yeah, I remember seeing that approach "work" for the Wii U scene as well as the 3ds scene which is why there are still leftover guides in both places with incorrect information. Thanks for the lessons on forum etiquette. You are only contributing to the litter yourself. Way to go.but i see no sense in creating a n00b guide when there is nothing to guide.
your attempt is to prevent a slew, yet creating one at the same time, because you have nothing to provide as there is nothing released.
when something is released and your thread is littered with people stating theres no point at the moment, so when someone has something to release and provide a guide, this thread then is littered already.
its best to stop slewing the forum, wait for something to be released, then create a n00b guide.
just pointing out that gbatemp is getting littered with people creating threads in the hope to get some behind the scene information, when nothing has been released.Yeah, I remember seeing that approach "work" for the Wii U scene as well as the 3ds scene which is why there are still leftover guides in both places with incorrect information. Fair enough. I've already asked the mods to alter the title. I'm not looking to argue. Can we instead work together to make this great?just pointing out that gbatemp is getting littered with people creating threads in the hope to get some behind the scene information, when nothing has been released.
these threads are as much use as creating a PS5 N00b hacking guide.
Here's the Wii U Community guide for reference. The guide here will look similar when completed: [Icantposthyperlink...]
Damn Kafluke, you did a very great Job on the Wii U Guide. Your Guides are fully trustable2-1-18
Things are heating up. No content yet. Just reserving the title.
I'm already working on content.
This thread will serve as a "community guide" meaning that it will have as many approved contributers as want to participate.
Just like the Wii U noob community guide it will be updated frequently to stay current and concise. There will inevitably be many incorrect guides and YouTube videos sending countless misinformed users flocking to gbatemp asking for help. Let's make a kick ass noob guide together to keep it all straight.
Let the fun begin ...
