What does that have to do with anything? Cemu is a completely different emulator for a different console, what part of that is difficult to understand?
U.u yep citra is already very good and there has been a good job by the developers
he will have the opportunity to run games new ds? a bit like retro compatibility on dolphin

I was at friend's house and use his PC and damn! I got solid 60FPS in Smash Bros in Auto Resolution.
Specs is Intel Core i9 as a processor and have Nvidia GTX 1080. His PC is a beast! I wish I have that but I ain't throwing cash for a beefy PC that is waaaaaay more expensive than the 3DS or Wii U.

Sadly, Yuzu Switch Emulator pretty runs shit there. I have an external hard drive for my report and that same hard drive have emulators.
Anyways, let them work more and document more on the Switch first than trying to boot one commercial game.

why is it so hard to fix up the soundeffects on dragon quest 8 on the citra emulator
It's because they have to reverse engineer the 3DS' sound to make it work. Don't worry. They are trying to make a fix for the audio and it's gonna take a long to finish it.

Again, making an emulator takes time. You might think that it's a walk in the park. But no, they need a 3DS(actual REAL 3DS console that you can buy in store, not emulated) to reverse engineer it and it's not that easy to replicate. Please don't compare it to Cemu as what I said, Cemu are paid workers who will work 24/7 while Citra is open-source and developers have lives to deal with.

Again, if you're impatient, why not just go to PS2 and play Dragon Quest 8 there? There won't be any difference because Dragon Quest 8 for the 3DS is just a port.

Hello, I'm pretty new here I just have a question tho, what is the best build for my laptop? the specs are very low tho but still managed to get 15 fps on pokemon AS/OR.
The specs are:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4030U CPU @ 1.90GHz (4 CPUs), ~1.9GHz
4GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 8500M 2GB

Some tests with addsticks customizable option from valentin in a low-end pc (if i can handle these games then you too xD)

Monster Hunter 3U: MASSIVE speed up set ticks 50000+ from 20% to 100%+ ingame speed (valentin you are the man)

Monster hunter 4U: good speed up set 14000+ but the action latency are VERY too long i mean i press evade and the char evade 1 sec later :/ unplayable for me (cry)

Monster Hunter Generatios: MASSIVE speed up set 60000+ and no action latency issue but long loading screen i recomend put it AFTER you loaded the save game you can change in ingame too if you go town to mission or viseversa change to normal value for fast load then you come back with 60000+

Metroid Samus Return: Great speed up set 40000+

Firen Emblem Awakening: MAKE FAKE SPEED DONT USE THE ADDTICK just set the normal value 10000+ for normal speed

Pokemon ORAS: MAKE FAKE SPEED DONT USE THE ADDTICK just set the normal value 10000+ for normal speed

Kingdom Hearts 3D: good speed up set 60000+

Super Mario 3D: ABSOLUTLY NO EFFECT AT ALL :D

Hi everyone!

Wow this is a pretty huge thread... i went through the last few dozens pages but I have no idea what to do next ;)

I currently have 7 different build of citra that all works pretty well for what I want to do...
I am doing a playthrough of Dragon Quest 8 on 3ds right now...
However, I noticed that citra does not emulate sound fx during any of the cutscenes... that includes when using "zoom" to warp... no sound fx at all...
I created a bug report on the official citra page here : github . com /citra-emu/citra/issues/3414
(cannot make links even though I have been member for years, not active enough i guess) ;)

As for my computer, i have an old i7:3770, a gtx970 and the game runs 100% all the time (currently at 2h mark 3rd city after boat)
It's just pretty annoying not to have any sound effects during any cutscenes...

My question would be : Is there a build of citra which would have better audio emulation somewhere? Anything I can do or try on my end to fix the bug? :)

Thank you all for your time and have a great day!

@tivo76 First of, this is an emulator discussion. Not a cheat code discussion.
Second, none of us knows how to make cheats.
Third, you've been spamming alot. Please no spam.
Forth, if you want to suggest a cheat for Citra, not here as no one knows how to make cheats. Go make a thread for GBATemp or visit some Gateshark site and make a request.

Has anyone actually implemented the screenshot functionality into an unofficial build?

Edit: Just saw that it would have only taken native resolution screenshots that way. I don't suppose anyone's found a way to grab screenshots at resolutions higher than the window size? (For example, running the game at internal 8x resolution on a 4x size window, and taking the screenshot at the 8x resolution).
