Hacking Should I buy PS3 or PS4?

Hi All,
I was thinking about getting a play station, and I do not have any idea about them, so I need your help.
I want that one it can run from hard disk external and run copies games and which one is the best PS3 or PS4 and there are Slim and Pro which one can I buy.
I need your advice about everything

Buy a PS3. Its hacked to pieces. Is cheap and there are loads of great game available and by the time you finish with them the PS4 will be ready to roll.

If you're interested if free stuff, which you are, otherwise you would't be here, get either a fat PS3 (guaranteed to work) or a 25xx Slim (not the super-slim, 2/3 of the models work)

Yeah: Currently: PS4 is hacked but not really, and the exploit was already patched and automatic patching system of PS4 makes it sure not many PS4's in right firmware are going to be around (heck, even I did not give enough crap to not update my PS4)

all oldest fat PS3's should be hackable right now. With slims you got to be careful because Slim 2000 is ok, Slim 2100 as I understand are, and SOME 25XX slims are, depending are their minimum version low enough. So when buying used, you really need to ask about the PS3 as in pictures, PS3 Slim 2000 to 3000 look more or less identical. I think colorization of Eject and Power buttons and existence of additional LED you cannot see unless the console is powered on are only outward differences. I THINK, not 100% sure this is true for all systems but my friend's 2500 Slim has Silver mirror Eject and Power buttons, and there is a blue led over the Eject button to indicate if a DISC is inserted kinda like LED under Wii U Eject button. Slim 3000 has Black, shiny buttons and no LED over the eject button and this is just about only external difference between "what you want and don't want" as far as I know.

PS3, in libya there is an unoriginal PS3 so I will call my brother to bring one from Turky an original if he get.

You cant Hack Super Slim

it must have downgradeable Minimum Firmware Version 3.55 or under

because of that i would recommend you a Ps3 Slim with the Model:
[Cech 2003] or [Cech 2004] or [Cech 2103] or [Cech 2104]

Cech 2501 or 2504 are risky!

if you buy Ask the seller for the exact Model!!!!!

The Op said his brother maybe buy one in Turkey
so without a ps3 there is no way to check Firmware with the file,

thats why its better to buy the Models i listed, cause these are 100% Compatible

Hence the suggestion to actually check it for real as opposed to an educated guess before carting it back from Turkey to Libya because his brother will still be going to physically buy/check out a 2nd hand system so taking a moment to insert a memory stick and check that he can actually downgrade the console seems to be a sensible investment otherwise he'll be buying something useless for his purpose.

Depends on what game you like, I only played few PS3 exclusives and played most the last gen games on my old gaming laptop, when I got PS3 I ironically only finished very few games, and sold it quickly for 70 bucks (ofw).

If I bought a hacked ps3, I probably just want to buy it to play ps2 /PS1 games and mass effect trologt
