They do an update to the cartridge and only demand 3.0.1... Where is the logic? Why dont they just demand 4.1.0?
I dont get it
Is it the only one around? Perhaps there is a 002 already? (I don't know... but maybe 001 is for 3.0.1 and 002 is for 4.0.1 etc?)

I'm on 3.0.0 and bought Snipperclips PLUS

Edit: might be useful pointing out in the list wether games are cartridge and/or download

it would have saved me 30€ to know that the Snipper Clips in your list refers to only a downloadable game
Not really! As the Snipper Clips plus is also in there + there is No physical release of Snippe Clips, onlu Snipper Clips Plus. And last: there is also a comment behind it. Sorry for your loss, but I am not to blame!

In addition to this, you should take all "firmware - serial number" lists on every site with a grain of salt, you should always be careful. These lists are not an absolute truth, there can always be something that's missing or is wrong.

As an example, take my Mario Kart 8 game. The list says it should work, but I happen to have a newer revision which we weren't aware of yet, that's the risk you're taking.

@B4rtj4h On an unrelated note, would you mind sending me a PM? I would like to ask you something, but due to my low post-count I'm not able to send any PM's yet.

There is another threath about revisions. Maybe I can somehow combine that with this list.

One question : when you insert the game on the console, the version of update is written on the menu before the update ?

No, the console does not tell you what it updates you to, once accepted. Also not every game has an update on board.
Check the first page of this thread for that info.

I did the exact same thing. I read the list, found Snipper Clips and asumed it would run on 2.3.0 and below. A small comment on the list wouldn’t hurt.

I have a new bought Snipper Clips PLUS cartridge that asks for a firmware upgrade before it will allow to be played. The 3 last digits on the back face of the cartridge are 001.
Network has never been configured on this system. It is running firmware v3.0.1 (updated from 3.0.0 to be able to play Mario Odyssey cartridge) and my Zelda cartridge (new revision = 001, so requires v3.0.1) can start.

Note: I did not upgrade beyond 3.0.1 and did not accept this update from SC Plus cartridge, so I don't know what firmware revision would be installed from this cartridge.

Conclusion: it seems a new Snipper Clips PLUS cartridge is available, and I don't know what firmware revision is installed with this cartridge.
